GT1 inspired Lamborghini Murcielago update! Driftworks LP640 project Pt 15

It's been 3 months since the last update on my LP640 project and a lot has happened. Gaz has been hard at work making proper mounts for the Reiter Engineering R-GT GT1 panels & shaping the doors & sideskirts. It's so nearly ready for paint!

Wow the amount of body work going into this car is wild!! I love all the little details you've obsessed over it's going to make the car an absolute beauty in the end. I applaud Gaz for all the hard work cuz I know what type of days hes gone through being I did paint and bodywork for about 6yrs before I started welding. I cant wait to see it all finished!

As a bloke thats been in body work for years, (built show cars, drift cars and restorations ect. I can say hes got a hell of alot done in 7 months. Projects like this usual take years. You sir are an artist👌 P.s maybe get this thing in a wind tunnel before paint, you dont want any weird airflow at "highway" speeds.

Great to see an update on this build - it's looking ridiculously good. The height of the wing is growing on me, the details of the shut line behind the front wheel are outstanding, Gaz's attention to the crease lines is phenomenal, the work from Craig, yourself and the rest of the team is outstanding. The wing mirrors are a much needed addition. I assume the rear view mirror will just be for checking you hat is straight now?

Not a big lambo fan (the Jalpa was my fav for looks), but I can appreciate them for being bad ass cars. And much respect to Gaz and you for all the work put into your car. Your "taking it a little far" is a recurring theme that comical and awesome at the same time and just makes this channel my absolute favorite. This might be one of the madest cars out there, I cant think of many, if any, that are madder than this. V12 Lamborghini, 12x itb, correct hand drive, correct number of pedals and GT1 bodywork. Thats quite a lot to get your head around!

The shape and the curves where the front fender (wing?) meets the door and the start of the side skirt looks like an engineering masterpiece lol. It's gorgeous but that part specifically looks so precise and perfect and "from the factory" i guess to say. Crazy good work. Not to mention the insane front suspension redesign that's all happening underneath there too. This car is awesome lol it definitely deserves the amazing work and attention to detail it's got.

Just binge watched all 15 episodes, Genius idea implemented by brilliant craftsmen led by a lunatic (sorry Phil lol), the only problem I see is how in all that's right do you decided what to drive. wish I had that issue,I remember picking up an LP640 a Porsche GT a Zonda F and a Konigsegg CCX all in one day for a Motorshow in the east end of London, the LP was the easiest to load due to the hydraulic front end, The GT was a pain with it's on/off switch clutch and the other 2 were just awesome, all cars owned by Peter Saywell who has the most amazing car collection which get's thrashed for charity on a regular basis, all in all a very memorable day. Great work putting this stunning machine back on the road where it belongs.

I am very impressed by the level of fitment cant have been in any way shape or form straight forward .After looking at the racecar chassis its like a complete different vehicle with all the racing cage suspension mountings god the list goes on and on,I realy did not realise just how dramaticaly different very very impressed
