A few products from this review were sent to me by Banggood for testing. This does not mean that I do get all my products. I review also a lot of products I bought myself. I started these reviews because from my experience not every tool from China was worth buying. So I wanted to make in-depth reviews to show you which products you should consider and which product you better leave alone. The fact that Banggood sent me products occasionally does not change the way I make my reviews.
I still give in-depth reviews and give you my honest opinion! On this, you can count on! I have a good experience with Banggood.com and they have a lot of woodworking tools nicely organized on their site.

I had a 10" Dewalt compound miter saw for around 12 years (light duty). It still works great kzbin.infoUgkxPeGkHOMe05FySypTOvYumxMn-xi39oRe but I wanted something bigger. My only complaint about the 10" was the location of the motor, and this version fixes that issue. The XPS system works well. My only request for future versions is a dust collection port (or adapter) that fits large shop vac hoses (or standard PVC pipe fittings) a little better. But that's not a complaint, just a request.

For most youtube creators I appreciate the fast speed. This is because I just want the answers and to learn. I would like to watch your work normal speed, old yankee workshop style. Your videos are phenomenal. I like to sit with a beer to watch and learn

Hi David, This was the first video where I use this fast speed more often. I am always a bit afraid that it would take too long, so I try to speed up things with editing cuts or speed up the scene. But I am happy with your comment, that gives me some confident to not be too afraid to show things more relaxed.

I agree about the level of video filming and editing skills. Dennis is among the few greatest. I am amazed by his workshop (especially because of how compact it is). I look forward to see his intro about the new one. Just by seeing his workshop is convincing about the quality of work he must do in it. Congrat.

I bought this exact kerf maker and I don’t know if there’s just a learning curve not with using it but setting up or what but it’s not that easy. I’ve yet to make a perfect slot or dado with it because no matter what the setting was it would change in the second step. Instead Inspire Woodcraft I believe is the channel shows a fool proof way to get the exact kerf thickness of your blade with scrap and that did work out well. Anyone brand new to the table saw probably shouldn’t try though till more skilled. Anyways I really love your mitre station and the workbenches to the dust collection, drawers and versatile drawer slide method its all phenomenal and not common which makes your work stand out. Your bench is unique yet would work in most applications and looks stunning to top it off. I’d love to see all you make for your shop organization. If you build floor to ceiling cabinets and custom storage like that I’ll definitely be watching! Thanks for filming and sharing

Dennis, thanks for creating another video on your workshop design and builds. While I like most of the China Tools videos, by far my favorite videos are your builds for the router, mitre saw and this drill press stand. I am in the process of having a garage built and have been researching work bench designs (I also love Paoson's designs) and tools and am excited to start building my workshop. I will need to make good use of the small space as cars will also need to live in the garage! I love simplicity and accuracy of your work and your designs - they look very clean. I also like the Incra products and love to see that you use them very effectively but have built portable solutions with them so you can put them away and gain bench space when they are not needed or in use. I also live the simplicity of the dovetail tracks. I looked at them before, but wasn't sure how well they would work, but you have put them to great use on your benches and mitre saw. Much simpler and more affordable than buying a lot of T-track. Thanks again for all the efforts you put into your videos and for also making the effort to do these in English as well. There are a couple of German makers that I love their designs too but cannot understand anything that is being said and I know I am missing out. Happy New Year to you and your family! When that new shop is built and you run out of China Tools to talk about, I think it would be great to see videos on the projects that you make in your workshop!

By far the nicest shop furniture on KZbin. Everything is so well thought out, but on top of that it's incredibly aesthetically pleasing too. Wish I had access to that dark MDF here, but with the way regular lumber prices have shot up, I'd be scared to see the price tag. Regular 3/4" finished plywood is around $70 a sheet right now. It's crazy.

Hi Dennis, I have watched your Drill Press / Mitre Saw Bench video quite a few times now just to make sure what I am doing on my build :-) I have just demolished an Old Bench which I built 7 years ago which was a good solid Bench but not very practical. It has a lot of reusable timber in it, so I have decided to use some of it for my Chassis. Watching your Video, I wondered why you used strips of Plywood Glued together instead of solid wood for the Chassis, then I started to build mine and it became so obvious, NO Mortise and Tenon's to cut when you use Plywood Strips :-). They are all done now and I have to say they are the best Mortise and Tenon joints I have ever done (Not that I have done many) and this has been mainly due to my growing collection of China Tools, particularly the Measuring Tools and my new saw bench, so much more accurate than a hand saw. The Chassis gets glued up tomorrow and I can then start on the Drawers and then the Top. Can't wait to hear about progress on your new Workshop so please keep up with your excellent Videos.

Yes, it makes it very easy to make the chassis. But those different layers are also very strong and more stable. So, I think they are ideal. But nothing wrong with solid wood. :-)

You have a beautiful workshop. I am currently buying a house and will only have a 5mx2.6m garage to turn into a workshop but it will definitely be Hooked on Wood inspired! So clean and neat. Awesome channel, so glad I stumbled across it! I look forward to future videos.

Hello Dennis, I am a big fan of your Videos. I am building me a new workshop at the moment. And I realy like the idea of combining the mitersaw and the drillpress in one station. I realy would like to have plans of your builds at hand. Maybe you could consider this for future projects. Best Regards from Germany

Interesting ideas, much appreciated as I'm remaking my work bench for a new 12" sliding miter saw and I've the same size drill press. Nicely done. I'm new to your channel and look forward to seeing more of your work in the new year.

Hi Rod, I am pretty happy with it. It has some small problems, but I think the new series are again a bit better. Small issues are with the fence that is not nicely finished on some points. The tinted coating is very thin. But Overall, I am happy with this saw.

Hooked on Wood thanks for the feed back. That was something I was wondering about just from what I've seen on line not sure about the whole high low fence.don't see that on tablesaw Much.
