Drill Press restoration and upgrade part 2 - Quantum B160 T Vario

This video series introduces various small projects in an effort to restore and improve a bench drill press.
I had been working this project for almost two years; when finally I managed to finish it, my computer hard disk drive crashed. It was very frustrating for me because besides this project, a few more projects were lost as well. While I was trying to digest my mistake of not keeping backups, I decided to keep the hard disk hoping to find a way for recovering the data.
Eventually 4 years later and with the help from a friend some of the footage and pictures from this project were recovered. Anyway, I did the best I could with editing to give you the best possible idea of this project with the pictures and videos I had. I hope you enjoy it.

Super quality for even small jobs, very impressive. I have never used at fret saw for metal work but I'll give a try now that I have seen your results. Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks for your comment Yann, glad that you like it! The jewelers saw blades are made from hardened steel, they can cut wood, non ferrous metals, steel and stainless steel and in some cases hardened steel (I have cut 40Rc steel). Glad to share, as always! Take care, my friend Dimitris
