It's not only the details and the shear number of parts you fabricated for this project, Dimitris, but the absolute beauty, fit, and functionality of all the pinch parts that make it a stunning piece of equipment for the watchmakers drill press. Design and machine work were off the chart for the whole project too! Well Done and Congratulations on what you have created...truly a masterpiece that will last generations! Hat Tip and Salute, my friend!

Hello PJ, I was thinking for quite some time now, what to reply to you. A 'Thank you' seems too simple, with a 'very much' beside it, sounds a little better, but not exactly what I want to express. I'll make a try, but I don't know if I'll manage it. So, besides the 'Thank you very much' I'll say that it gives me great pleasure hearing an expert engineer saying, that what I designed, adapt or copied throughout the entire project, has been done the right way. Take care my friend Dimitris

Why do you need to have to tool holders so accurate? It's a 40 position holder, so you just move it one tooth. Just machine each holder in the lathe to make them perfect.
@JimmysCanal
@JimmysCanal 8 күн бұрын
Because the particular seller who also states that upon his improved designs the Multifix tool post and holders are built so very accurate. He puts his name on the tools and praise himself and his tools through his site and YT channel for being the best on the market - besides that he doesn't offer what he states, his tools are very expencieve. I regret the moment I bought these tools from that seller, paying so much money for something that don't worth; with half the price I would bought something similar from ebay knowing that wouldn't be perfect but at least it would be cheap! If you sir, was in that same position as me what you would think of? that there are 40 different positions to put the tool on? or that you paid so much money for something that its not so accurate as the seller states? Thank you for the comment! All the best Jimmy

Hey PJ, I don't know if a 'Thank You' is enough for your kind words! Yes, it was really satisfying especially when I saw that this tiny drill press managed to drill a hole on a 6mm thick piece of steel (something that I'm not going to do it again). Both Kosta's did fantastic work, for which I have thanked them many many times. Without their help this project would be really difficult to finish into that level. The lamp video at the moment it's in the editing stage, I hope to finish it next week? I believe that you'll like it. Thank you once again for your comment!! Take care Dimitris

Absolute top quality as always! I did run into the 3exact same problem whan i was looking in my "collection" for a motor to an old hobby wood late i restore for my neighbour daughter, my neigbors old dad previously kidnly gave me some old single phase motors i taught would look nice, but i did run into the wall when i tried to figure out a realistic way to keep the torch while going up or down in RPM, this time it did end up a bit unexpected since i found the "original" motor in the trash and it turned out to be the only 3 phase vintage motor... ha ha I saw those castings are stil made as well as the quorn grinder and the wormgear hob, now i realy hawe to save up money so i can affort the import cost... ha ha!
