Such a great design and build! Drawing a lot of inspo from y’all for my own van plans. Quick thought - you can put a matting material on the underside of the bed frame so you don’t have an extra step at night to protect that gorgeous wood counters in the living area

Yasssssssss, I cn easily do this bed set up everyday. So, this is the first build tht lve seen, tht l literally would not hv to do any changes to. It fits my exact nds. I hv blueprints & l cnt believe, their a near match. Not many modifications whatsoever.... I'm actually taken aback by this magnificent build. For me, l want to be able to walk front to bk, use cab seat(s) on a 360' swivel for more in van seating, hv a full bathroom w dry bucket system, hv a full functioning kitchen w full undermounted (double) sink, plenty of cabinet & storage space, hv a bed tht l dnt hv to mk up everyday, but cn be use easily, (be it murphy or elevator) & cn be put up out of the way for sofa lounging on both sides. As well as outdoor shower accessibility. This is awesome & it's beautiful. Grt job...thxs for sharing & be safe.

The whole space you have for the bed and below it is exactly how I want my van to be setup. I love the idea of hiding the bed away on a lift and if I want under it I can have that walkway space to just sit and relax or do work etc. Great way to stow the bed in my opinion that’s what I want to do c:

Nice house on wheels!. Just a sugestion to make your life easyer. Put fix straps of cork under the bed, in the places of contact with the furniture above. So less work and warranty to not forget❤

This is EXACTLY what I want to make, the only differences I have is the back would be a desk instead of cabinets, and my shower would be the entire sliding door entryway, with a teak wood mat as the floor with an aluminum shower pan! I love the live edge countertops!!!

See, we make a 28 long video. And still forget things lol. Yeah we have a 22 gallon tank that I under mounted on the driver side. Was pretty easy to do actually. For the motor is an atv winch, rated for 2500lbs I think.

Wow! I’ve watched a lot of van conversion videos but yours was so informative and your choices are so efficient and beautiful. Have you ever considered attaching those cork mats to the underside of your bed using Velcro or an adhesive so it will be scratch resistant without needing to lay out the mats and put them away? Good question! We typically just go to a laundromat since they are in almost any town.

You could clue those matts on the bottom of the bed so you don't have to lay them out every day.

Thought about that, but Oksana didnt want the exposed cork up there. We had planned to eventually take some cork and stain it in the same color to be less visible.

We were in Qualicum Bay, Vancouver Island. Yeah we thought about it, but we were running out of time for when we wanted to get started and it seemed like it was a bit more advanced then we were willing to tackle at the time. I do think its worth it if you have the money or time. I heard you can link it up to radiant floor heating as well.

Thé bed sliding down saves a lot place >>> one of the best invention. No need to prepare the bed when you’re tired it’s already ready great thanks for this ingenious idea. The only problem when there is a problem of electricity. Maybe electric and if it’s possible a mechanic escape solution if can’t use electric. Just in my opinion but of course diner s place can be used in general. Thanks to share

Yeah we havent had the problem yet in a year and a half. If our battery died we could always turn on the car and let the alternator run it. If the winch itself burns out than we have two options. 1. There's a release lever on all winches. 2. I have it attached via hooks that can detach, so could lift up one side at a time and slide off hook.

Nope. Just KZbin ;) We did renovate an Eco Lodge in Costa Rica that we own so that was a bit of experience.
