This game's driving physics weren't the greatest by any means, but holy shit, they were the most fun. No other game can compare. The damage, the weightlessness, everything about it was so fun. The only way I can describe it to anyone is Grand Theft Auto San Andreas with Flatout 2 physics.

same with me, Driver 1, this game, numerous aircraft simulation games i played as i was between 6-8 years old have just awful graphics when i look back at them, but i remember them as being just almost like real life! even as recent as GTA san andreas on PC, i thought it was literally real life!! but it looks like complete dogshit now haha

The graphics in this game are awesome. Especially for the time that it was released. Much better than GTA San Andreas, this game should have topped the charts, but didn't receive the recognition it deserves. Sure, there's more to do in San Andreas, but the graphics aren't prestige to be honest.

I also agree with Alex Lavoie, GTA San Andreas looked very 90's-like and didn't have much to show for it. Like I said, there was more content, but the graphics looked like something a video game designer slapped together on a Friday night.

One there different companies who made these games which "coincidentally" came out during the same year, two the engine Rockstar used is completely different than Driv3r, if they used a similar engine gta san andreas would be a completely different from the infamous one we know today...besides gta san andreas was still WAAAAAAAAY better as I remember it
