Really enjoy your videos . I am hoping that you can do more on the control board.l would like to know what are the critical imputs required to engage the relay and fire the MOSFETs. I have an old EMC scooter and suspect the board. I am in Australia and it seems I have to order parts from the UK.

Thank you very much, That was very informative, although my scooter is not the same, it does give info. My scooter is a shop rider, and having trouble with wig wag, also replaced the batteries but starts slowing down to a stop after several minutes.👍

I had another question... you mentions in this video changing the terminal as an option instead of changing the motor as a whole! Do you mean the the individual metal connection or the male connector as a whole? and would that be easy for myself to change also..? Many thanks for your time...👍

Hi depends on how bad the scorching is or plastic melting of the connector and if you can actually remove the terminal. Without damaging anything. Best getting a new loom a little bit more expensive but hassle free plug and play.

Can you help and advise me please. I bought a Green Power ZT500. Ive only had it 9 months and I went to Tesco's and suddenly it just stopped. The motor whizzed round but did not engage the drive function. Everywhere I went to get it fixed, as soon as I said, Green Power scooter, nobody wanted anything to do with it. I phoned Green Power in Hull and because I didn't buy it direct from them they wanted double the call out fee, £180-00 and then pay for parts and labour probably costing me £450 in total,which I could not afford on my pension. I live in Reading, Berkshire and im 68 ex army man who got blown up on the hms Sheffield in the Falklands where I lost the back of my right leg and suffered severe burns to 30% of my body so I find it hard to get around and really need my scooter up and running. I'm not mechanical minded as I'm a retired chef, Baker, Butcher. Could you please advise me what to do and what to look out for as I'm desperate to be able to get out and about as without my scooter I am housebound. Brake still has to be wired up and and have no issues

Hi Tom. Could I ask a question please? I have a gogo ultra ( 3 wheel) which will not move and emits 7 beeps. According to the user guide this relates to the wigwag/speed control. I have checked and replaced both. I also carried out continuity between control pod and control box.Could this be a control box issue ? Any way of checking it ? It is an S-drive unit . Thank you

Hi Tom: My scooter go go elite moves well, --forward and reverse- and the charge looks full. But when I start it, sounds a CONTINUOUS beeeeeeeep that neves stop unless I turn off the key. So if I start and try to move forward o reverse, the scooter moves well but always beeping. Can you please help me ? I really will appreciate your help.

Hi Tom, I have a king cobra, not been used for 6 months but I charge it every 2 weeks, it all works fine but suddenly the charger will not charge the battery and there are no lights or indicators even though you still get the bleeping if the indicators are switched on and the panel lights up when I turn on the lights, but none of the actual lights light up, can you help

Got it working now yeahhhhhhh...the only thing is when the emergency brake thing is on it makes a SCREAMING NOISE doesn't it well I put it all back together and no matter if the brake is on or not its screaming!!! HELP lol...im thinking it's because I've put the brake unit on the wrong way is that possible? X

Hi, great vids! i've enjoyed watching a few with you fixing them today after my mums Invacare comet stopped working today, I thought it was the latch gear for pushing or putting into drive as when I messed with it a few times and started the scooter again it went forward and back but straight away the scooter wouldnt work again? I took cover off and had a wee look and thought it was the switch but on further delving I found a burnt connector not so bad but pretty similair to this video but I think the cable came from the break/latch side end.. I didnt check the brushes as I didnt know anything about these scooters until watching your imformative fab videos! I think I shal check them tommorrow! I noticed in another video that you use a fibre glass pen to clean, do you not ever use electrical contact spray to clean out these parts? also in another video you mentioned your Whatsapp number but I got carried away watching more of your videos 😂 could I please have your whats app for advise and also if i need to order any parts please!

@@deedee12386 Hindi yours is fitted with an S drive then it’s: A throttle trip is indicated. Make sure that the throttle is in the neutral position before switching on the scooter. Check all word and ensure throttle is centred

I personally do not work on them I can’t get parts for them I have heard lots of people struggling to get there’s repaired. I don’t thing they have a dealer network around the UK 🇬🇧 but could be. Wrong. Best phone them and tell them you have one and need it repaired and ask them the lead time or your nearest dealership. personally think they are far too high of the ground have heard people coming off them as centre of gravity too high. They are cheap compared to the real thing. We sell lots of different types of scooter than can be repairs all over the UK. You will need to speak to them. Best of luck 🤞🏻

I charge my scooter all night and I don't even go a couple of mile and by the time I get home the green light is off

Better get the batteries tested before purchase as there could be other problems causing battery drainage
