Of course not,these are expensive bikes. You wouldn't take a somewhat luxury SUV off-road
@TheRiderGuider4 жыл бұрын
Yeh you're sort of helping me there in my buying decision ... I'm trying to weigh up between something a bit more off road focused (the T7 or KTM 790) and battling my Triumph loyalty ... I'm gonna be heading off road more and more and as much as the Tiger would be awesome, it's a bit too posh!!! They could do with making a lighter less fussy off roader.
@mcr07414 жыл бұрын
@@TheRiderGuider get the KTM Adv 790R or the 1090R for hardcore (rally style) off-roading. I'd hate to beat a Triumph too. But for light off-roading, you can easily go with the normal versions (GT / XRx / 790 Adv) and slap on a set of Pirelli Scorpions or something and you're good to go.
@vivekstreme19944 жыл бұрын
It's a shame that you spend loads of money on buying a powerful triple cylinder motorcycle to find the bike lacks low end torque. Then what is the point of spokes if it doesn't have low end torque? When these manufacturers make. Single cylinder, torquey, 65 to 80 bhp engine on an adv frame then you have a bike which can be the true offroader.
@pateris3 жыл бұрын
@@vivekstreme1994 Looks like the bike is new. It's a totally different story once the engine has a few thousand miles and is liberated ? Is that the right term in English ?) I tried a Street triple new and another one with 16 000 km on, it was a different bike !

And indeed it's true. I had a 1 hour test ride with Jeans on, 24 deg Celsius outside, and my knees got uncomfortably hot. Nevertheless love this bike.
@Freelancer9194 жыл бұрын
@@mattuk7612 Exactly. It is a great bike. But for some people, like me, this kind of a thing might be a reason to search in competition instead. E.g. the Tiger 1200, according to what I heard, heats the ass and balls so well, that the heated seat button is basically useless :) I experienced the same issue on my friend's KTM. It was 30 °C outside and the heating was really annoying.
@mal-wx6tu3 жыл бұрын
A great rework from Triumph, unfairly compared to the BMW and the KTM, and yes a Tiger 675, would be a smart addition to the range. RIP Christian, taken far to soon, there's always the risk out there, that we all share.

I would say there is a lack of compresion adjustment for the suspensions, You can see in the rock garden the slow motion part how the wheels loose contact with the ground due to uncontrolled compresion. I adjusted mine with 10 clics closed the compresion and rebound in the fork and the rebound in the rear in the closer recomended setting. Huge improvement.
@ICHRA114 жыл бұрын
Just returned from another 2000 km trip with my rally pro. The bike consumes 5litres per 100 km average (no off-road). By the way: You can open the smartphone compartment under the 2nd seat by pushing the lid....not pulling it like you did in the video...I think you broke it then ;-) And you can change the windscreen height when riding the bike. However it is hard to do at high speeds with all the wind pressure on the windscreen mechanism.

Most people are saying that's heat from the engine is gone so Im really happy that you mentioned it's really not and even split radiators push hot air directly to your legs. Will need to try it in good weather to check it out as it's probably the most frustrating thing with Tigers (got Explorer 2gen and in the summer it's a nightmare). Other than that the bike fells super comfy and perfect for shirt and long rides (I also noticed lack of wind protection in the shoulders but good windscreen or additional plastic pieces should fix the problem).
