Excellent video. Fun fact ( since I am a hard core military history buff kinda dude, just recently surpassed my 300th book on World War II alone) during the Battle of Britain it was BMW engines used by the Luftwaffe, and Rolls-Royce engines used by the RAF, I find it very ironic that BMW now owns Rolls-Royce, in fact a senior leader of Rolls Royce mentioned when BMW bought them "...what the Germans failed to do with their bombs, they have done with this deal!" My oh my, how history can be quite ironic never ceases to amaze me. As an entrepreneur myself I look forward to success that perhaps one day I can own one of these, so again thank you for this excellent video, you are by far the best in the industry Tom! Cheers!

This car kind of reminds me of my dads old 1965 Imperial LeBaron from the front end. I guess it will have to grow on some people. I still can't believe they dropped the drophead coupe Phantom for the drophead coupe Dawn. If you have to worry about price and/or MPG you should be looking elsewhere for your automobile.

My favorite part of this review was hearing that people from "all walks of life" buy a Rolls Royce Phantom. Now, Jesse Jackson once looked me straight in the eye and said "you can always keep hope alive" so I keep hoping that we can drop the BS but then maybe human beings are incapable of actually evolving and we're doomed to simply keep regurgitating the BS we've heard the most often just like our parents and grand parents before us.

Beautiful car. And pure luxury in steel, paint and plastic, no doubt. However, Lincoln makes a Continental in Black Label configuration that is very nice, optioned very well, has some nice luxury features, and is hundreds of thousands of dollars less. Granted, quietness may not be equal, you won’t have leather lined wheel wells, you can only choose from 5 or 6 colors, and your back seat tray table is always in the up and locked position. But, dealers are everywhere and the car has a long history. So, a trade off. You can spend a king’s ransom or not. Both cars will depreciate at the same level. So you can buy a new Lincoln for $80,000 or a 2-3 year old Rolls for that or less. Enjoy.

Nice video Tom! How much difference is there between the ride and refinement of this and say a Mercedes S Class or Bentley Bentayga?
@jamespatrick69396 жыл бұрын
The Bentley is considerable tougher, since its off-road worthy, well tougher is a pedestrian word for the bentley, with its hardest suspension it is still better than anything, but the rolls floats away, you know if you dress nice enough and come up with a credible story, you can test drive anything, and I highly recommend you test drive this or the ghost

I know several people with Rolls Royces, friends and neighbors and all are certainly not entrepreneurs by definition. My buddy has a Ghost, he inherited a marketing company from his dad, NBA and NFL player in my neighborhood, they have Phantoms, another neighbor just got a Wraith and he's an eye surgeon, there's a car dealer with a newer Phantom and then a bunch of other old Rolls Royces so there's a mix of owners but they are definitely not all entrepreneurs like the rep stated, it's a mix. I'm sure there are a ton of lottery winners and people that inherited money that have zero interest in building any brands and whatnot. HA HA. I found it kind of an odd statement from her, like she was trying to stroke the egos of owners and potential buyers.
