I'm loving my LTD X LS .....playing from spots I've never played from before. I love that it is like a Lazer beam and still in the fairway. I love the hazrdous blue stiff shaft, for me it just feels perfect. I'm 61 years old and getting rollout near 290 yds on flat surfaces. 100 mph swing speed. Keep up the good work.

Great video! Just picked up the LTDx Blacked Out Limited-Edition model today. In the fitting/simulator, it came down to the Ping 425 or Cobra, but the Cobra was about 10 yards further consistently.

Gabe…You’re channel brightens my day. Great video and results are no doubt accurate. If you used the LTDX-LS for a month likely you’d tinker and hit it more center fairway more often and dial it in. Could you do a video on the Cobra LTDX “standard” (not the D) model vs the Rogue ST Max and the Stealth Plus? I’m curious if these 3 which would take it. I’m seeing various winners by others it’s hard to decide. Keep the vids coming!

Great video Gabe! Just got fitted for the LTDx LS. Last year I had a fitting yet nothing beat my F8+. This year, the LTDxLS was significantly better than the Stealth, TSi3 and G425 LST. The Rogue was a close second. The Rogue was confidence inspiring yet the LTDx LS was 10 years farther and better dispersion.

Once again your on-course reviews excel and make great viewing. I'd go for the Radspeed myself as I'm a little risk-averse when it comes to drivers I pick the ones which give me superior dispersion over distance. It's 1st March, and thats definitely GO for golf season here in the UK!

Another awesome video. Thanks! Really loving the on course testing. That's the way to go as we don't play our golf in simulators that much. I saw from one of your comments that you are using stiff shafts. I have pretty much the same clubhead speed as you with the driver i.e. just under 100mph. I switched from stiff to regular last year and found a few more yards distance and maybe slightly better dispersion too. Would you contemplate moving to regular shafts given that you're right on the cusp between stiff and reg? BTW, I'm getting beyond excited for March Madness.
@LetsPlayThru2 жыл бұрын
I’m certainly not opposed to it. But my timing seems to be a little more consistent with stiff shafts right now. That said, could change at any time.

I got a bit confused during the video as to whether this was about the LS - the images indicating speed and carry show the LTDx, not the LS, and you keep calling it the LTDx. I'm specifically interested in the LS, so had to rewind to confirm what LTDx model you were using.

Watching some of those shots and seeing the distances you must be getting lots of spin for such short shots and then the longer shots must be way lower spin. According to Ping Launch and spin chart for a 140 ball speed you should be getting 260 to 270 distance with proper spin and angle of attack numbers. At 18* launch you need 2000 spin to optimize distance. I think with your spin and launch your leaving 15 to 20yds on the table. Would love to see comparison with the G400 LST and see how much gains have been made as that's the club I'm still rocking. Nice video, love seeing real numbers on course versus simulator numbers.
@LetsPlayThru2 жыл бұрын
Possibly, but also need to factor in that this is morning, fog in the air and lots of dew on the ground. That’s going to significantly affect distance as well.

Well I will say price wise the LTD is not worth the $250 more then a quality used Rad speed. For maybe a little more up and your getting 5 more yards on average. So I guess you can’t go wrong with either of them.

Yeah I think it’s very close. Radspeed will definitely suit some games and LTDX will suit others for sure.

I’m gonna be nosey here for a minute. What is your average driver swing speed and carry off the tee? Never mind. Just say it in the video. Someone with your swing speed might benefit from a higher loft and higher spin. Maybe a 10.5 degree driver with a low compression golf ball and a higher spin face
@eJunkee2 жыл бұрын
I had Radspeed, now LTDx. The only reason I switched is because I like the sound and feel of LTDx better. At 108 mph swing speed I get very similar results, although LTDx is slightly better result with slightly low face hits ( But very marginal). Newer drivers won't help most amateur golfers hit longer or straighter. That's a total myth and pure marketing. It's far better to invest in lessons to gain noticeable gains. Most basic PGA golf instructors will be able to help you find 5-10 mph for 99% of golfers out there with 1 or 2 lessons.
