@@VegasAlex702 is that still stock ecu or is that the aem fic i fugured out how to get you more afr stock ecu raisxe base fuel pressure i just got my block done again and turned it down boost wise and 60 psi gave me 13s at idle and 11 wide open on stock injector but i think you went to fic and really wanna know if thats been working out without having to retune it everyday someone told me you have to retune it constantly
@VegasAlex7022 жыл бұрын
@@jonjetleewayne1939 the FIC doesn't have the ability to offset for air intake or coolant temp. This means that when the air density changes dramatically from winter to summer then I do have to retune it. I don't find that the tune is dramatically off in most of the low load areas, it's typically at the high load areas where more tuning is needed. For example during the winter I had to add more fuel in the higher load areas and now that it's warming up again I have to take fuel out a bit because it's making less power with the less dense air. If you are going to use a piggyback, it requires knowledge of tuning. If you aren't on board for that, then get a full standalone and pay for a tune.

Are you still running that 11 lb spring in the bov? I’d love to get more info on it (like, dislikes, brand etc)
@VegasAlex7022 жыл бұрын
Yes. Still running the tial bov. It's basically setup to stay closed all the time currently because the MAF will freak out when the BOV vents right in the airpath of it. I ran it with a softer spring and it just makes a whoosh noise. I prefer these type because they aren't obnoxious like the hks or Greddy ones.

@@VegasAlex702 have you ever thought about going no bov with the lower boost?
@VegasAlex7022 жыл бұрын
@@VitulaJoy yes. I considered getting a blank plate for the tial bov. When I go standalone, I'll have the BOV venting because it won't matter.

@@VegasAlex702 I run no BOV and it sounds sooo much better with the flutter. Never had a problem with it either.
