I used to hate that color, but when seeing it on Skoda VRS models in person, it looks sweet. I bet this Audi looks ten times better in person than on camera. Knowing that the camera wont do justice to what those paints do. On a side note, Merry Christmas Ted! Wish you, your cars and your family a great holiday season! For a lot of us (especially here in the ny,ct area of northeastern usa) wagons and suvs arent comparable because of ridiculous potholes, snow, flooding and extreme weather conditions (especially in combination with mountain driving) etc; so non- suvs just dont make sense as daily drivers. I know how much wagon guys love wagons so i really hope they keep making fast wagons you, but for many of us fast suvs are the perfect daily.

I've always loved Audi designs. This RS Q8 is so nice with that green paint. You said it's not as fast as the Urus. I can visually see on the dash that it's not as fast as the Urus, even this tuned one. It also seemed to like the short shifting. I don't know if it felt slower at the top of the rev range when you were driving it but it actually looks like it slows down a little after 6k rpm. When you short shifted at around 6k instead of the 6700 rpm or whatever redline it has, it seemed to scoot quicker, like it kept its momentum better. As for your question: Wagon vs. SUV, for me personally, it would depend on living location and towing needs. I tow occasionally and I live in an area that gets 30+ inches of snow at least once a year so I would go the SUV route. I'd probably go the RS Q8 instead of the Urus just because I think the Audi looks better and it's much cheaper lol. If I didn't have to tow and lived in a not so cold climate, I would for sure go the wagon route and get an E63. Edit: I also found dyno's for both Urus and the RS. The Urus makes 550-575 on a dyno which seems to be insanely underrated from Lamborghini! While the RS is hitting 425-450. That would explain the power difference.

14:11 I say more fast wagons. I get it if it’s your only vehicle you want it to do everything. But I would say if you’re driving an SUV that costs that much you probably can afford a sports car and a daily driver. I mean they’re fast in a straight line but it’s still a 5,000 lb SUV which means a Miata could loose it around a corner. If given the choice I’d go RS6. There was a guy in maybe 2004 with one in Hopkinton and man I wanted that car. Back when it had “only” 450 hp.

Honestly, i think my stock SQ7 accelerates faster. I think a big reason why your unimpressed with the power is the fuel. I know the winter fuel out here in western MA is garage and extremely noticeable in a performance vehicle. I would bet money in the summer it would perform far better

i just got an e70 x5m , i love it coming from e36s and a supercharged e92 m3. it feels more like the e92 than it does the 550igt my father had, or the e38's and e53 i have/had. its bone stock and already quick, i know with a tune, some low, and a trans flash it will be even better. as for wagons/estates, i dont have much experience because we dont get cool things in america, but id love an m3 or preferably m5 wagon. i feel like bmw should make an m560i like they did the 550igt on the 7 series chassis. they should put the v12 twin turbo in a 5 series wagon body. that would be insane.

I don't know...I didn't find it to be that Bonkers. I was expecting a lot more from it. It's quick but not staggeringly so. And the steering was that of an A5. It's a fine car but I wanted more RS vibes that I got.
