Calas EV - you can enable FASTER charging on the Cybertruck by using the NAV on Autopilot pre-heating mode , this optimizes the Cybertruck for FASTER charging @ the Fastest TESLA superchargers. you also get more RANGE if you LOWER the body to its Lowest setting. and ONLY charge @ LOW state of Charge , combined w/ NAV on Autopilot. this selects the BEST Supercharger based on your TOTAL range remaining & availability of Supercharger stalls and it uses a Predictive Algorithm for other Vehicles headed to Superchargers in your area.

Most people don't realize that what they find good looking is what they are used to looking at, a world where trucks shaped like a cybertruck were the norm, the boxy trucks we have today would be ugly. Traditional OEMs are a bunch of cowards making the same thing every year and spending billions to convince you to buy it. If I needed a new truck today I would already own a cybertruck, but I don't.

Yes, in psychology. What people typically find attractive is what they see the most of or the average of what they see. It's ironic that people complain that all the cars look the same, but never buy anything that looks different

CalasEV - the purpose of the Tesla Squricle is to enable Single hand turning of the Cybertruck, which is Enabled by the Stear by Wire system & the Rear steering system. you can Steer by turning the Squricle less than 180* for FULL lock to lock Truns. at LOW speeds its Incredibly agile , at freeway speeds only slight turn is needed for BIG changes.

CalasEV - you can pop up a LIVE REAR camera feed Directly on the Drivers Portion of screen or you can slide it over for a LARGER view on the MAIN Display , you can call up the REAR Display while Driving to MONTOR both the side Cameras & the REAR camera at the same time , by minimizing the MAP/Navigation. as usual when you Backup the REAR camera is activated & when you indicate a turn , the side cameras are activated.

As a foundation series owner, I think it’s a very beautiful truck in my opinion, it’s bold and different, which are the main reasons why I purchased one! Nice video! I have the AWD 340 mile range Cybertruck, I certainly get around that mileage, not sure why yours was low, there are many factors, no wheel covers in your rental either which is a huge impact to range

CalasEV - the Cybertruck comes STANDARD w/ Large AT tires, which is great for ALL round performance. IF you do NOT intend to off road , then you can buy Downsized wheels & Street tires , which improve the RANGE. you can fit 4x off road tires in the BED , for when you reach off road destination.

The Cybertruck is 18.6 ft long, the standard garage in the US is 20 ft deep. Should fit with a bit of space at each end. Your test garage must not be 20 ft deep.

Let's be clear this truck does not have an exoskeleton. Tesla ditched that idea a while ago and used a stainless steel external design with the strength being in the steel frame under it. The range is really disappointing and it doesn't have a dedicated place for a spare tire, which every truck needs. You said this truck uses a lower 48 volt system. This is not lower voltage, it's higher voltage. Other vehicles use 12 volts.

CalasEV - most Customers are NOT going to use Tesla Supercharger for DAILY charging. most Customers will charge @ home overnight on 240v LEVEL 2 , and it will cost LESS than $2 FULLY CHARGED. assuming you have a dedicated 240v plug & Super off peak Electric service. you can FIRE your Electric company and buy your Energy from the LOWEST cost Provider. (out of state). IF you have SOLAR & Powerwall , then your Charging is completely FREE. but , even w/ Powerwall ONLY the price is Reduced , as Powerwall will charge @ Super off peak ONLY.

Very well thought out review. Lorena I agree with you, the CT is polarizing and I think it was built for an audience of one man. I did buy a pick up truck this year it was an EV that better suited me. The CT offered no appeal to my needs and taste. Over all the CT was a general disappointment once I got a chance to try it out.
