have been here few times now.. spent all my weekends out here when I was in Viaduct.. last visit for week was month of June.. was roadie from Eastern Bay Of Plenty.. planning next trip already.

Slightly longer but more scenic route that avoids traffic congestion at Kumeu. - From SH16 turn right for Coatesville Riverhead Highway - Turn left at Good Planet then take Deaacon Rd and Old North Road through the Forest. Left at Waikoukou Valley Rd to Waimauku then onwards to Muriwai. Most beautiful scenic route North Island - Gentle Annie Highway from Napier to SH1

@@DrivingandFilming Riverhead recommend for a lunch break Hallertau, The Riverhead Pub or Beekeepers Wife cafe. Other great drives Manukau Heads Lighthouse Kaiaua for fish and chips then coast road up to Kawakawa Bay

@@DrivingandFilming Going North skip SH1 Brynderwyn Hills and go via Mangawhai and Waipu Cove. Auck - Huia is a nice drive make sure to stop at Huia Point Lookout
