Been ttc for about a year and just found out im pregnant this morning! Im only 4 weeks and Im excited, but im so nervous. Thank you so much for making such a useful video. I had an early scan I was only 5w3d to rule out an ectopic pregnancy, I’m high risk as I had my son 9 weeks premature due to preeclampsia and placental abruption and when they did my scan they said they could only see the sac and yolk which had me worried I’m going back again at 7 weeks to see if thing have developed and this has made me feel calmer

Wow this video came at the perfect time. My partner and I just found out we’re a little over 5 weeks pregnant. We’ll be going in for our first scan around 7.5 weeks. Our furthest pregnancy thus far has only made it about 7 weeks, fingers crossed #4 is the one! I’ll keep you updated. We’ve been saving for IVF with donor eggs through PNWF, you might remember us

I'm not sure how many weeks I am, my last period was September 4th. My pregnancy app says I'm 12 weeks today, but when I went to get my pregnancy confirmed on October 21st, the nurse said I was 3 weeks. I will find out how many weeks I am on December 2nd

Hi Doc ❤ according to me I am 5 weeks 5 days pregnant but when I went for an ultrasound the sonography said I’m 6 weeks 1 day ?? But I remember the day of conception so can it be that the ultrasound was few days over ? Meaning it rounded off my weeks instead of 5weeks and 5 days the ultrasound said 6 weeks 1 day 😢

Your embryo might be measuring at 6+1, it will fluctuate a few days before and after and isn't anything to worry about.

How in the heck do you convince your care team to perform an early ultrasound? I'm a 36yr old, long time type 1 diabetic, I have been working with a high-risk pregnancy clinic, an endocrinologist and a fertility clinic diligently for over a year, have had three failed IUIs, finally on the fourth I have a positive test! But nobody wants to perform a 5 or 6 week ultrasound, they want to wait for 12 weeks! I think this is not a wise idea, given my medical history and that I was given Letrozole in my early cycle, with no pre IUI FD ultrasound... It's really discouraging to have to justify your concerns to your own providers.

Well, i've learned i am pregnant 2 days ago. It wasn't a planned pregnancy. The problem is, i have hypothyroidism. I didn't adjust my medicine (i might even forgot taking it a few times) i didn't start taking folic acid. My bloodwork came with high TSH even though i take my prescribed amount. My doctor adjusted my prescribed thyroid medicine yet I AM HAVING NIGHTMARES. They scared me saying my baby might have defects or low iq. I can't get the thought out of my head. I don't have anyone to talk to. What should i do? Did anyone have same kind of problems before? How can I reassure myself that everything is gonna be ok?
