Okay I had a horrible childhood and family members.. I have moved to different cities but have came back to my home town. Yet I have learned to be more responsible and resourceful in Life. I have made tremendous strides in my LIFE.

Thank you Maika, so so much for this, I needed to hear all of this at this moment. I’m in a situationship in which the guy makes me question my self-worth, so needless to say, this was a perfect mirror to see how this is all driven by my mind craving for confirmation of my old beliefs. I feel privileged you share this kind of free therapy ❤❤❤

Thank you 🫶🏻🙏🏻 I‘m glad this was helpful and came at the right time! Yes, we‘re not in control of other people’s behavior, but we can choose what we expose ourselves to and how we respond, and our range of choices expands with an awareness of the beliefs that guide us ✨.

Thanks for your insights and how you always put them together so eloquently. You make breaking generational shame and trauma go from such a daunting task to something I feel like is actually achievable. Thank you!

Aw, thanks! That‘s wonderful. Change is possible, especially when we break it down into small steps and take it one moment at a time 🌱💖

This video resonates so strongly with me. My father is a malignant narcissist that throughout my entire childhood, constantly criticized, undermined and damned my actual existence. To this day I truly do not feel I should exist and have no right to be around any other people. The irony is that this incredible, overbearing emotion has driven me to be successful as I always tried to compensate for it. However, after divorcing from a 32 year marriage I truly do not understand why I am on earth. I recognize the unworthiness exists but have alot of work to do

Thank you so much. I was able to hug myself and tell myself that it was going to be OK, and I cried and I felt the pain and I soothed myself. Your words and knowledge are so valuable. Thank you

Formerly addicted to shame, now emotionally addicted to 99 Luftballons and delicious Schnitzels as a coping strategy. Nena looks like my twin soul sister.

I wish more women had a healthy mindset like Dr. Maika Steinborn. I think most of us will consistently be a work in progress and I think if you have romantic partners that are actually into doing the work.

Are there safe people out there? Would they even want me around? I'm 52 and still looking.

Find safety within yourself. Give yourself everything we were gaslit into believing only others can provide. Give yourself the love ,acceptance and safety. Dive into Buddhism, spirituality, Stocism or all of the above. You'll gain inner strength and power. Blessings. You are not a victim. You can become an over comer. ❤
