"When we define our worth over things that are not under our control, we give our power away" - Truth teller ! Nice insight. This is what I needed to hear. Thank you.

I’ve been in no contact for seven months. It’s getting easier, the part of me that wants him back is slowly fading.

I recognize the irony of giving you external praise on a video about being more internally validated, but you and your work are very special. I find myself registering multiple times similarly to when I read Brene Browns Dare to lead. I’m interested in hearing about examples of ways people lean into their own voice. This can often feel a little confusing because we often have developed interests from a place of chasing things for our value. Love to hear more unpacking of that.

The whispered “inside you” landed so deeply

I love all of your videos, Dr. Maika, but this has to be one of the most powerful I've seen yet. It has helped me in noticing when I become fixed on an outer measure of success to feel "good enough," and from there I can start to release those inner conditions and just be me. Of course, I made it sound easy, but this will now be a lifetime project. :) Thanks for all you do.

One more thing. I’m not sure how you feel about writing but I heard a prominent speaker mention they were going to write books in the future by having AI analyze their transcripts and help write books based on their speaking. I think you created a ton of value in all your videos and wanted to suggest that as an opportunity if it’s helpful or valuable to you. Have a great day!

Or we can define our worth over things that can't be taken away from us, like empathy, integrity, our values. This could be a first step as a replacement, so that we can form new mental habits by replacing old ones.

Why does it feel abstract when it comes to working innerly?

It needs to be internalized deeply to feel real and concrete.

Is it true? I feel this profound loneliness all night, every night. I want people in my life but I don’t think anyone really cares about me unless I’m likeable, impressive, interesting, successful, accomplished etc. How can I be okay without any of these? Where does worth come from?
@ElyseArtiste7 ай бұрын
It's an inside job. Worth comes from knowing that you are enough as you are because You are a MIRACLE. You are divinity itself. You are a Creator.. you are creating right now. Listen to Neale Donald Walsch or Wayne Dyer.. you are innately worthy, lovable, beautiful, magnificent ✨ Anita Moorjani's book Dying to Be Me helped me in my own personal awakening. Hope this helps undo that social conditioning. Blessings ❤🙏

It sound like you're carrying a lot of loneliness 💔. To your question - is it true - it is, although not everyone has this mindset. There are certainly people in this world who look for status symbols and the like in their friends and partners. So some people will size you up against these measures. That doesn't mean everyone's like that or that their perspective is truer than the perspective of unnegotiable worth. You have the freedom to choose how you'd like to see humans (including yourself 🙂). If you choose to cherish every individual's fundamental worth and humanness (also yours), it'll enrich your emotional life and improve your mental health, and you'll find people who resonate with this attitude with whom you can have close emotional bonds. You'll find people who like you for you, who enjoy your authentic, inherent qualities and that's the best fundament for any kind of relationship. All the best! 💗
