A Look At "Blue Spy" - The Hilariously Weird TF2/MLP Crossover (Part 2)

God, this took me long enough to make. Also haha I edited this video in 30fps yet rendered it at 60 so some of the timings for text and stuff appearing/disappearing is slightly off. Great yes haha I am a genius
Blue spy was created by MovieMowDown/Secrios. Although I am poking fun at his series, please don't go and bother him about this on my behalf or anything. It's an old series and I can't imagine he wants a spark of reignited drama about it.
also i know about that two hour twenty minute "Blue Spy 5" thing some other people made but i didn't include that because those guys are dicks

Here's some interesting insider info from my own level of involement in MLP/Gmod communities in both KZbin and DeviantArt back in the day. As y'all realized, there's a lot of people who had their "Gmodsonas"/"ponysonas" included in this series (whether it was Secrios wanting people to be involved or favors or something is beyond me), but it went beyond friendly collaboration/shout-outs. The bunch of random guys atop the building thing ( 18:41 ) were the gmod avatars of some people on DeviantArt who were vocally critical of the brony users (mostly over user drama, "stupid" ideas of the bronies or just general cancer-calling that MLP stuff gets), to the point of arguments aplenty and hate art and whatnot, so by showing them as part of this "Troll Empire" thing Secrios was basically insulting them and their behavior. Tho I dunno if he meant the same towards DMGania with his larger role, if the guy was collaborative with Secrios using his avatar/name. Also the loser-looking Scout playing Meowth's role at the song was a DA user named Arturus who was kinda a jerk to everyone and rambling negatively about how people used MLP stuff in GMod art. He was a bit of a butt monkey of the community and the way Blue Spy uses him is just a reference to that. So yeh, Blue Spy was full of in-jokes to DA/GMod communities that included insults from drama wars that barely anyone remembers. Good times.

I also "fondly" remember another gmod crossover series called "GMOD Monster hunters". It was almost the same but with an anime medic self insert and way more ponies. As the title suggests they fought monsters? I don't remember but I do know that "trolls" were the main bad guys. Sadly no matter how hard I search for it, gmod monster hunters completely disappeared from the internet

i remember it too. It's a shame the youtube channel disappeared from the face of youte, it was a good mix of action and humor(but mostly humor) there was also a gmod youtube channel know as shadowfirered with a shadow manipulating engineer going on adventures with his adopted pony daughter and many friends
