Been experimenting with it yesterday, like what I'm seeing. Question though, what would be the best way to animate the mirror 45° angle from flat to 45°?

Alex, am I allowed to ask you a general question about an issue I am having? I tried to open Resolve today and it failed saying "Application is not open any more". BM design doesn't offer support for the free version. If I download the app again will I lose all my previous work and Power bins? Sorry if I shouldn't't ask you this.

Hey, Alex, maybe you (or someone in the comments) can help me with this: I have several vertical videos that I need to use in a 16/9 proyect. What I wanna know is if is possible to make a preset to: Crop the videos so Resolve will "delete" the "black bars" on each side of each video, set V1 to the full left, V2 in the center and V3 on the right. The thing is, I could make this clip by clip, but there are A LOT of them, so this can help me reduce time, like creating a "split screen preset" like there is in Filmora 9. Thanks in advance and love your content.

Thanks Alex.. That was actually amazing... I must admit that when there is any mention of color grading or nodes my hair stands on end which with this current barber shutdown is a pretty horrific sight... I know you mentioned awhile ago about resolve courses, assuming these have all been hit with Covid. It would be handy if local colleges did Davinci Resolve studies.... GN

Doing the gradient in color feels a bit over-complicated. I would probably do it in with a static linear wipe, or if I need more bends in the mask, I'd move over to fusion. But I can't argue with the results, that look awesome.

these are all fantastic tutorials, thank you so much!! I have a specific thing i want to achieve and no idea if this would work with a mirror effect: i would like to shif the right side of the image in comparison to the left side of the image in a point symetric way. similar as if you have a piece of paper on the table, cut it in the middle and rotate it to the right side: tilts, but it also shifts the cutting point.. any ideas? oh not sure if i explain it right. it is easy to do with paper but hard to explain hahaha :) :)
