Love you videos, thanks for taking the time. I noticed the bolt to hold the fish release was blocking the sensor, maybe the drone thinks it’s close to the ground. Just a thought

Cheers Shane, I've disabled the downward facing sensors to eliminate them picking up the 3d printed bracket I was using... I think the drone needs a factory reset and calibration... ive flown it since and it's flying alot better

@@afishalangler3548 we find the Mack’s don’t hit the bait No beak. No hits bruv Make sure when u buy the gardies. They have beaks. Just trust me on this You can also use sand mar as bait if u can’t find gardies. They’re very oily. And we also ghost cotton or baits on.

Thanks mate, will make sure we only use gars with a beak. I wouldn't have thought it would make a difference as they eat other fish that don't have a beak. Thanks for the tip

I have the magic pro, great drone, just bought the cute copter, next time you go out, I suggest you recalibrate the compass, should sort it out, love your work mate, keep them coming
@Land2AirFishing3 жыл бұрын
Will be doing that before I go out again for sure.... nowadays it doesn't come down straight away, takes about 3 minutes from 30 metres up to land each drop...its super frustrating

I have a Ruku F11 pro. I intend to use it to drop bait off the surf. I never had a drone! Im the new guy! I am going to use a outrigger release clip I will test it first! Wondering if you or anyone has used the F11 Pro for fishing off the surf?

Never heard of that drone before, have you got a link to where I can check it out?

hey bro you should try the gannet x bloody good bait release system, i have a phantom 4 pro it had the same issue with it drifting, you need to recalibrate the compass.
@Land2AirFishing4 жыл бұрын
Hi Josh...yes ill try the re-calibration. I manufacture my own bait releases at less than 1/2 the price of the main stream clips available, you should check them out My products perform flawlessly so dont see the need to buy the oppositions 👌

Hi really enjoy all your content.Would really appreciate your advice. I live on Gold Coast and looking for a full drone fishing set up. Never done it before. People talk about the phantom 3 drone as very good. Also the swell pro spry (water proof) $1500 model. Also a middle priced rod and reel set up to suit. Thank a million 👍

Hello Sir. If youve never done it before I would suggest trying to meet up with someone who has and go along with them on your first drone fish, just to see whats involved and to see if its right for you. As with most people, myself included, start off with a phantom 3 standard for about $400 and use whatever beach rod and reel you already have, if your reel only holds 300m of braid do drops around 200m and as you get more comfortable and budget permits look at upgrading to something better. Assassin rods are great and they use a low mount reel setup which I prefer and recommend over a high mount reel setups on almost every beach rod available. I am developing a low mount 12 foot 2 piece rod which is also usable for beach casting etc. Otherwise its a case of going to a tackle store and holding some rods and seeing what you like, anything rated for 15kg+ will be ok. As for reel go with your favourite brand and select something that can hold 500m of 50lb braid, that will have a decent drag rating and be fine to use. You can see the rods and reels i use here -----> kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpLPepmon5Vne7c

Hey mate would it be possible for you to make a video on the custom-made bait dropper? I have a drone but no dropper, would love to know how to make one myself. Cheers
@Land2AirFishing4 жыл бұрын
Hi Retz, join the Facebook group and put a post up on a DIY design... I cant show how to make your own exactly as I produce 3d printed release systems for mavic pro and phantom 3. I started off with phantom 3 and a bent up coat hanger, it worked but now I think of it was just too risky and no fail safe so wouldn't recommend it.

possible recalibration needed every or same location test in park first
@Land2AirFishing4 жыл бұрын
Cheers. Seems like calibration is the go 👍🏻

common with all drones i guess I tried flying mine in the park in my neighbourhood The b***h was driftin on its own and just will not respond to what i wanted it to do Scared the sh*t out of me Since then stopped flying in parks, dont want to injure anyone or any property Guess when it looses signals it goes bazooka :D
@afishalangler35484 жыл бұрын
I think its a calibration issue with the sensors responsible for holding GPS....my phantom 3 never did this and I know others with the mavic pro who have the same problem as me, others who don't have the problem and then others who had this problem and eliminated it after a sensor calibration was performed.👍🏻
