Welcome to the world of FPV Drone Racing, Drone Nexus, where all the skilled pilots and drone builders come together. Drone Nationals and Drone Motorsports--a FPV quadcopter racing competition that brings together pilots from all around the world. After two days of races and freestyle stunt performances, we chat with the event's director and the competition's eventual winner about the developing sport of FPV aerial racing.

Pure skills my ass. You can't do this with any drone. It has to have a very low latency, high mobility, high quality live feed, etc. Give one of these "pure skilled" drone pilots a much cheaper drone and let's see how they do.

THIS VIDEO IS 5 YEARS OLD (also the live feed isnt that quality on most analog setups which they were definetly running back in 2015) the secret is acro mode no stabilisation. You could do this with a 200 dollar drone

Michael Petale get yourself a tiny whoop would be a good start, their cheap and great fun to learn the basics of fpv flying, goggles will work with future drones you buy on the 5.8ghz band as well

the footage seen here in this video is the same quality that you see on a FPV Camera or it will be less?

ripmax333 this is a stolen video but the the fpv feed is a much lower quality to this. You get feedback and crackling on the fpv and the colour quality is generally much lower quality too. It's faster to transmit low quality video than hight too. So you'll get less lag and delay.
