Wow!!! very very Cool Captain! and definitely liked the profile without the landing wheels; only one very noticeable and deeply concerning observation; the Pilot of the plane had a very "pale" complexion so I do hope he was feeling ok !!!!!!!

When solo hand launching you might want to try launching with your left hand and keeping your right hand on the aileron/elevator control stick. Just use your chin to push throttle up to 50%. This is the way I started to do it after a few close calls with bumping the control stick when rushing to get my hand on the controller.

That would certainly work for planes with no AS3X or SAFE in them. The receiver in the VOODOO is programmed to detect a hand launch and automatically raises the elevator.

hi: some people fly air plane fpv. They make it very realistic. I have seen them shoot landing patterns. Their view (on video, fpv,), look just like a real landing pattern. It is the best way to practice landing full scale, but flying fpv rc. lol

hi: without axskc3, things get unstable. That would not be good. Big air planes need it as much as small air plane. drone also need them. rc cars also can have them to steer straight.

@@pokerchannel6991 Yes, somewhat agreed on that as far as having as3x. But if you can learn to fly not having to rely on that it would be better. Things had change so much technologies wise, now new RC Hobbiest can enjoy the benefit of good technology we have now, not having to crash as much and enjoy flying or driving for that matter. 🥂

I wish I lived around people like you . I bought the rotor riot transition kit. Had the goggles already from my DJI fpv. So I got the skyeliner and DJI remote from rotor riot. The only thing the say you need to do is bind it. Goggle to air unit then remote to air unit. Of course my goggles wouldn’t bind. Watch a few videos and seen about going under settings in goggles under about section and switching over to fpv Digital system. Great got it to bind. Then remote bound fine. But the remote won’t arm the quad. They thought the throttle trigger was backwards but I tried holding down right stick but that’s not is either. Now they want me to go under beta flight to check other stuff. I don’t own a computer. Always did everything on my smart phone. So I try using my friends computer. Well it’s a Mac and I can’t figure out how to download beta flight. So I’m stuck paying a premium price on ready to fly drone that I can’t use because I don’t have a computer to check other stuff that’s sold that you don’t have to worry about. I know it’s something really simple when you have all the right stuff to check it. If I want to return it because it doesn’t work the way it’s was sold to me as a ready to fly kit I get a restock fee of 15 percent if there is no problem with the quad. We know nothing is wrong with the qaud its something with the remote. So I’m not really happy about that. So now I guess I even get screwed on 15 percent of my order I paid almost 1300 on or ship back everything with my goggles for them to get it right. So now not only do I not have my skyeliner to fly I won’t be able to fly my DJI fpv either for who knows how long. Not really happy with customer service either. Hardly can ever talk to anyone. Mostly emails that I spent all day going over something we could have talked back in forth over the phone that would take 15 minutes. As of now I wouldn’t recommend them or spend any more money with this company. That could change. I also understand they can’t control stuff like this but you as a company sell a premium product for beginners like me to take all the work out of it. Going to see where I get to today with them because I spent all day Thursday with emails going into Friday. Couldn’t get anyone to answer or respond to me Friday afternoon. Just needed to vent a little. Haha. I know anyone that has beta flight with a computer could fix this in 10 minutes. Anyone that reads this that lives around Harrisburg pa that can fix this I will pay you for your time.

I only read a bit of your comment because it is very long and under the wrong video (this video is about an RC plane… I do have a rotor riot video). Yup, you’re a newbie so your first thought is something is wrong with the gear. Very common for all newbies to the FPV hobby to blame the gear. Well done on binding the goggles and remote (you have a green light on the remote when bound, right?. Now power on your remote and flick all 4 switches away from you, then plug a battery into your drone. Make sure the antenna is attached to the drone. Make 100% certain the throttle joystick is all the way to the bottom. Now the arm switch is either the switch on the front left or right. Carefully flick one of those switches and see if the props spin. A digital drone won’t arm for several reasons. Reason one… the digital unit in the drone and remote has not been activated using the DJI assistant (need a computer for that). Reason two…the firmware on the remote or drone or goggles is not consistent (need a computer to update that). Reason three… the throttle joystick is not all the way down. Reason four… your FPV drone has gps rescue and needs to be outdoors and capture satellites. Reason five… it needs to be setup in Betaflight. Never seen a video on a bind and fly where you need to have beta flight and computer to fix it. I’m just stuck where I even go spend more money on a computer and figure out how to get beta flight or send everything back in for them to fix. I’m just sending it back for people that have the right equipment and know how to fix instead of days emailing each other for a 15 minute Conversation. My comment to you was mostly just wishing I had people like you around me to help with and a little bit of venting. Appreciate your trying to help. I watched all of your videos on this topic and tons of others. Never seen a video running into this problem with bind and fly where you also need to have beta flight. I’m going to get a computer and get the stuff I need for it because I know getting further in this hobby you will need this stuff. Thanks.

@@byronrobinson8633 You are correct that if you know someone in the FPV hobby near you, then all can be quickly resolved. Having a computer is essential in the drone hobby and I guess vendors take it for granted that everyone owns a computer (PC or Mac). Same is true for cell phones. I’ve seen people buy a DJI drone who don’t own a phone or tablet and are lost. Digital FPV is by far the simplest to configure and get going (if one owns a computer). Analog is a massive nightmare in comparison. Flying an FPV drone is extremely difficult and most people crash their drone so many times learning that they quickly destroy the drone. This is why it is essential that a newbie practices on a simulator. Every single person who flies FPV drones started at level zero with no skills or knowledge… it takes weeks/months/years to fly FPV confidently, so practice and knowledge learning is essential for success.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 yeah I’ve got about 11 hours on a simulator and have flown about 25 batteries in manual mode. Flying manual mode is what got me addicted and wanted to buy a drone from rotor riot that can be crashed more and easily fixed unlike the DJI fpv I have. I fly it pretty good In manual. I can fly all around the house and in between trees and stuff just not doing flips and rolls down low yet. Always up high doing those tricks. Thanks for the talk and believe it or not your little bit of time with me was way more help then customer service I got. Just got back from ups mailing everything back for them to set up for me. Meanwhile I’m going to get a computer so this doesn’t happen anymore. Haha. Maybe by this time next year I’ll be building my own. Or maybe not with my little tech I know but I guarantee I’ll at least be able to get on beta flight.

Nice flying steve. I have the umx mustang. I noticed that there is a full aileron deflection difference between left and right. That is when i put full right aileron, it gives big aileron deflection, but the left looks a lot less ,and vice -versa. Did you notice this ?

I don’t recall, but if it does the opposite in full left then I guess that is how it is. If it is only on one side then something could be block a gear.

Yes, many people use a TX16s with RC planes. Not sure if it is 100% compatible with UMX planes

Cetus X is a true FPV drone so then when you learn to fly well you can then fly any FPV drone. Cetus Pro is mostly designed for people with no hand/eye coordination that come from the DJI world and need optical flow stability.
