Droneman David Earned His Pie-Martin's Old Off Grid Log Cabin

Another trip comes to a close but all the roof boards for the new log cabin construction are stacked to dry. We enjoy some good times on the last afternoon as the tools have been put away for the trip.

What a tremendous amount of work ripping all those boards, cutting and stripping the logs and gathering the stones. You are a true inspiration. You deserve all of Vonnie's world famous cherry pies. I'm looking forward to seeing it all put together this fall. thanks for the inspiring videos.

That was a funny conversation between you and the Droneman! It reminds me of a conversation me and my older brother (who is 70) have. I'll call him up and ask if I can come over. I have something to show him. His reply is no. He has a couple of hours of work to do, What about tomorrow? My reply is OK I'm retired, I have all day (I'm 64!) Some people just can't or won't let go and take control of their life!

It never dries up but does get low in the winter and dry summers. It is spring fed so always some water moving through.
