This "crazy" idea of putting a drop of water in the ocean was surprisingly deep... Everybody could imagine the analogy, but to actually see it... was profound. And the fact that you paddled for hours, to show a blink of an eye is a testimony and analogy in it self. Thank you.

Thanks Fr Goring for your meditation. I am attending with my sister at the hospital as she has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. A young woman at 71, her God filled life will be coming to an end as she enters eternity with Our Lord Jesus, His Mother Mary and the heavenly realms of Angels and Saints. I feel with the world turning so upside down, it is time for all of us to meditate on eternity as our final destination, because it comes quickly, in a blink of an eye, our life is over. It is a beautiful thought and meditation that the drop of water represents our life on earth as compared to eternity with the Lord. But, on the reverse side the eternity spent without being with the Lord due to our pride or stupidity not to repent and confess our sins can also show us the horror of serious sin not repented. We need both voices in the Church. The "ambulance drivers" who pick up the broken broken after crashing from sin and needing healing, and those who put up or shout out warning signs: don't do that, don't go there, beware! - to prevent crashing and needing healing - and losing eternity with the Lord.
