When I was in high school I got called to the guidance counselors office and got accused of snorting cocaine. What actually happened was I thought it would be funny to take my first ever 100 dollar bill and roll it up next to some crushed up melatonin and take a picture of it. One of my friends got mad at me for something stupid and decided to tell on me and show the counselor the picture. They called my mom to question her about it and she just laughed at them and said I was a good kid and definitely was not doing cocaine. I didn’t end up getting in trouble but got a talking to about the “dangers” of melatonin

I got in trouble in high school for trying to cheat. So my best friend had the same class as me, but she had the period before mine, so she took the test, and after she finished, she wrote the answers to me on paper, and the teacher saw her writing down the answers, so we got into trouble and got Saturday detention, which I never went to because I couldn't tell my parents because they would have killed me, and the phone number I had given them was my dad's old phone number, so they were never able to reach my parents, they still don't know about this. Good times! 😂

Paddling still happens in some schools. In East Texas they had us parents sign if we DIDN'T allow them to paddle our kids or else it was automatically taken as permission to do so. I wouldn't allow them to but I kept that detail to myself. My son rarely heard anyone getting paddled tho. At one of the schools I went to in California they paddled some kids. Just hearing the kids crying was enough for me to stay in line. School was my escape from home tho. Thing I used to get in trouble for was wearing all black. I was constantly in ISS in jr high over it (in Texas). Other wild stuff I got away with.

I got in trouble while in high school when we were just about to sit for our final exams, we had sniffer dogs come to look for phones since it was a boarding school and we weren't allowed to have phones. I had a couple of about 8 phones stashed in my locker.when the dogs came around I had to act stupid and say I haven't used it since the year began. Still ended up whooped and suspended for two days since I couldn't miss the exams
