How many months did it take for you to lose so much weight?
@PositivelyPresent19 ай бұрын
@@ankitamal8647 hi, so now it’s been approximately about 3 months, that I am following intermittent fasting. I usually eat from 11am to 5 pm. I usually try to do it everyday, but sometimes during the week on any occasions, I can break my fast… but because of following this fasting everyday, I automatically don’t feel hungry, and even if I have to eat, I eat in very small quantity. It becomes natural to not eat, our body gets used to it… it’s harder for the first few days, but if you stick to a routine, it will be easy. Though I eat literally anything and everything in my eating window, which is wrong… I eat chips, pizza, cakes, ice cream, biscuits, everything… but the quantity is reduced and I am losing weight despite of eating everything. I think Dr Pal is right he says, “what” you eat is less important than “when” you eat.

Dr Pal, you are awesome! Can you also put a video for peri-menopausal women and IF? I am currently doing 16:8 for the past month along with yoga and some bharathanatyam. I have seen huge difference and already reduced 4 lbs. But I want to make sure I am doing this right in my rhis stage of life.

Love. Love this. I didn't know about this before. I did intermittent fasting and I was tracking my period using an app. My cravings was exactly as you said. It was easy to do fasting in the beginning of the cycle and hard by the end of the cycle. I was thinking that there maybe some correlation and I got your video suggestion. You are doing a wonderful job in helping our community improve our health. So much love and respect to you Sir ❤

Yes doc iam able to fast 16hours a day... I have several doubts; 1. How long should we continue 16hrs fasting? After weight loss can we reduce to 10 to 12hrs fasting? 2. Can we take thyroid tablets while intermittent fasting?

Doc, dont laugh at me. Ir anyone else plz dont laught at after what I am going to confess. I am 36 years old and I had no clue about what is the first day of my cycle. I use to get confused when they day start this from first day of cycle this that... God .. i use to be like, is it like 1st day after the period. Or first day of period. And when estrogen/progesterone are high/low. First time in my life u got this clarity. No one ever spoke with this clarity. Thank you. And yes I am dumb.

My menstrual cycle is in its last phase, at times I feel like having a sweet but have it now before sunset. As I have completed a fortnight of intermittent fasting successfully with exercise regimen, it is making me feel lighter from inside. Thanks a lot for making this intermittent fasting easy to follow

Can you please tell us the kind of fasting in menopausal woman ?

As progesterone is not there, you could extend your estrogen phase fasting and listen to your body and modify accordingly

Dr. Pal you are a genius ! I do intermittent fasting but on certain days I feel extremely hungry and these are the days which falls on the 3rd phase that you mentioned, I used to curse myself and think my body is acting crazy even after following intermittent for sometime now! Now I totally understand what my body needs and will slightly give in on those special days! Ofcouse no major harm in treating yourself a little special on these days! Thank you for enlightening me! You are a super star and I follow your channel and love your narration & your friends Saravanakumar and Thirupurasundari! Please say hi to them from my side 🤣😂🫣

Thank you so much for this! Can you shed some light on the messed up circadian rhythms in teen girls, and how it could bring hormonal/metabolic imbalance? I find many young girls are unable to sleep at normal times despite practicing sleep hygiene (no devices, etc), but they are still required to wake up earlier than their bodies can handle, hence they are sleep deprived. This leads to other disruptions in the body. I experienced this myself and ended up with PCOS and other issues.
