Nice cap :D This “why not wear a random object I found in this room” mentality complements the “hours of pre-planned lecture” one and I love it 💖 Respect goes to the most amicable, engaging, funny (but serious), inspiring, culturally interesting, clever and calculated KZbinr mathematician out there :D

Last week, I found a relationship between "gammafunction" & "golden ratio" (phi) I played around with wolframalpha and the gammaderivative: ln(gamma(x+1)) = ln(x) + ln(x-1) + ln(x-2) + ln(x-3) + ln(x-4) + ... The root/solution of: ln(x) + ln(x-1) = 0 --> x = phi ln(x-1) + ln(x-2) --> x = phi +1 ln(x-2) + ln(x-3) --> x = phi +2 ln(x-3) + ln(x-4) --> x = phi +3 ... As a self-taught hobbymathematician, I don't know what's already known and what's not known in mathematics. I assume, in modern mathematics, there's nothing new to discover. Maybe that's the path Ramanujan followed, when he wrote down his crazy formulas which include Phi & Pi & e & i & ... and so on. But you still need a lot of intuition to find such relationships. It's very hard and not obvious :-/ Greetings from Germany. Next time, greetings from Africa (Namibia).

t+2*x+1/4. x+1/2 =t/2 +3/8; dx=dt/2 Integral from 1/4 to 9/4; (t/2 +3/8 -t^1/2 )^2 *dt/2 =1/120

What are the math programs competing for best integral calculator aside from Mathematica and Wolfram Alpha??? (I know MATLab only does Matrix manipulation)

0:32 Formulas that machines can not solve. People that are really interessted in math find a lot of such expressions over the years. Half of my "hobby-math-work" can not be solved by machines/computers. Such stuff is almost better than an "entrance examination" for university, because such terms are elaborated. I never visited an university, so I can't really talk about that. But it think it would be more appropriate. It's mostly a sign that someone is dealing with complex math-questions and interessted. Nevertheless, you have to consider every case on its own, of course.
