Why do ppl act like parents should be perfect? They are humans they can do some mistakes as well, im pretty sure she didn't raise her to do drugs but she still did because of how she is/how her friends are. Kifs environment and how they take things matter much more than the parents raising them

But she wasn't though, the parent had a bad case of cancer and the father left them when Dannie was a baby. The mother can't take care of Dannie because she is dealing with cancer so the mum got the grandmom to help out around the house. Dannie was acting out of a trauma-protective response where she pushes her mom consantly away like this because she doesn't want to feel the pain of losing her mom. The mom wasn't bad.

I can’t imagine my child behaving this way, and me being mad instead of worried. A lot of parents lack empathy, it’s kinda sad to see. I would never have a child unless I’d gone through extensive therapy myself to identify any latent issues, and also read extensively on parenting.

What pisses me off is that parents like that will sometimes get so comfortable with the “oh my child, please pray for me, here’s what they’ve done now 😪..” is that they’ve orchestrated their children's reputation before their children even knew what one was or why it is important and as they grow and mature their parents try to catalyze old narratives because it is where they find validation with others at the cost of their children's ability to interact with society.

Why is it always the child's fault and not the parent? She had to have done something wrong for starters taking her child to dr phill. Troubled children shouldn't be exposed on national television. Now look what she went through. Hope the relationship between mother and daughter is a better one now.

Its good that the mother is trying to get her the help she needs, and everything. But my big question is, where is this girls father in all this? This is a perfect examlpe of why the fathers role in the home is so important. The father is not only a role model in the home but the whip, the diciplinarian and the authority figure!
