I am actually curious to know if his medical license was revoked, and he was working illegally. I am not a surgeon, but looking at those x-rays;even I can see there's something off about them. They (police and prosecutors) would have checked his mortality rate;how many patients had died under his care. Most surgeons would have an average of about 1-3% average mortality rate, but there's often other problems such as allergic reaction to drugs, complications from pre- existing medical conditions etc. Most reputable surgeons would be perfectly fine about a patient obtaining a second opinion or checking up on his or her credentials. I always checked my vet practice's credentials when I sought out a vet for my dog, my pet insurance would not cover me if I didn't. The practice never took it personally, they knew how difficult insurance companies could be. Finally, I always trusted my instincts, if a vet made me feel uncomfortable, I simply booked an appointment with another vet. It was a large practice anyway.

he wasnt doing them illegally he just moved from hospital to hospital. the hospitals let him resign instead of firing him because they are afraid of lawsuits. and then the patients have trouble finding attorneys to go after him because texas limits payouts for medical malpractice to 250k

Why didn’t someone before or after that surgery show the x-ray to a higher up, and if they did, how would Duntsch explain that away? He used to blame the other OR staff for the complications but how who could he blame for this one? It is literally a black and white case here!
@MrWizardjr93 жыл бұрын
the hospital would then ask him to resign and he would move to another hospital

So I’m watching the Dr death show, I think he was just smart regarding theory, but he didn’t really know how to translate that theory into surgery, but maybe by the end of the show I will pick sociopathy instead

Bunch of random people in the comment section having the same exact experience .. but only now decided to say something- on another note - this nurse always looks loaded up on drugs - like marbles in his mouth - he can hardly talk - and it’s every interview he’s done - not just this one

Aside from the fact that this person is an absolute monster, what bothers me about the movie is that peacock chose not to have someone portray this insane person by an age appropriate person closer to his age. I think it took a lot away from this production. Having said that i hope this person never sees the light of day.

Oh wow! I worked with Kyle at Dallas Medical Center while Duntch was a new hired surgeon…we had problems immediately!! I worked with him at Dallas Medical Center formerly named Deadmonds aka Dead man’s hospital. I was a charge nurse there. When Duntch came to my floor…standing at the nurses station and I could feel pure evil…as I stated as him…it’s like he part the air around him. If he would of looked up at me I would of peep my pants. That’s how intense my intuition or gut instinct was on high alert. My soul wanted to run. There was an instance were they took images to see what was wrong with one of his patience and the whole medical staff was staring at it as I was coming in to ask a question. Then when lying in bed after a car accident the program license to kill came on and there he was. I found out he was angry while standing writing orders for a patients chart… because that patient was never supposed to make to our floor… he’s intention to kill them or send them to ICU failed.
