The upa clone in my opinion is better than original for some vehicles that need an immo off, this device is worth the money

I tested mine today , all connected OK , but fails all tests , 5V and 3.3V , mine does not have a pot to adjust voltage though , any thoughts?

As others write here - I have a red version of UPA, the resistor and adjustable resistor are missing. These lead from PIN 5, and I assume at plus voltage? I can create an additional bypass. Can anyone please measure the value of these two components?

Would this work on my 2005 Chrysler crossfire I am trying to buy a cheap tuner and programmer just mess around with some things. I’ve never had one never use one, but I’m sure the software on the Internet is all the same because most them tell you to get on the Internet to get the software, I’m just wondering if that would work

They should have come with your programmer when you bought it. I'm not aware of where they can be obtained separately.

Are you running UPA software on 64 bit Windows? Maybe you could make a video on proper install? I could get mine running on x86 only

Yes, I'm running the very latest Windows 10 64-bit on the Lenovo laptop shown.

I honestly don't recall any problems with installing this. The uupa v1.3 I bought came with a little 3 inch CD-ROM with all I needed. The hardest parts were (A) the fonts are really small and I had to override that in Windows properties to run only the uupa app in a lower resolution and (B) you have to get this apps _unlocked_ files copied over manually from that CD. That last part did take a couple of reads of the readme to figure out. But I never ran into anything 32-bit vs 64-bit in the readme. Are you running the v1.3 one?

12VDC/2A into the regulator is what I used. The original Elrasoft UPA programmer had a spec of 7VDC - 15VDC input to the barrel jack. No idea if clones support that range or not.

It's for programming memory devices used in automotive electronics. Such as instrument clusters, immobilizers, radios, and control modules.

Is it possible to read nec d78f0515 mcu with upa?

There is an NEC 78K0 adapter, usually paired with the TI TMS370 adapter. But there's no documentation about support with the 515.

I'm only familiar with this particular clone board design, the red v1.3 version of the upa-usb. Each of these clone boards are different in some ways.
