My 5 yr old son is recently diagnosed with H pylori.He was having continuous burping and some times acid reflux and stomach pain.He is slow in growth also.we send a stool sample and it came positive.He was having a habit of drinking tap water while taking showers.Unfortunatly our well water when it is tested for bacteria it came positive.I think my son got this infection from drinking that contaminated water.since 3 yrs he showed symptoms and initially stool samples were not positive.Now he is taking Amoxicillin 500mg ,clarithromycin 250 mg and omeprazole 16 mg.Doctor said we need to avoid all spicy and sugary foods and especially junk foods.For me it's a tough time to go with this situation.Every one please pray for him for a speedy recovery.
