Condolences, we lost my son in law who was very much like our own child. He was my grandson's father and my son's best friend ❤. The guy that sold him the drugs were not charged because his girlfriend destroyed his phone and staged his death scene. Thank God my grandson has a stepfather that truly loves him as his own and has made the looks of the father a little easier. Karma still paid the dealer a visit after he gave four young adults lines of cocaine that were in reality fentanyl killing two of them. He received 15 years in prison.

Homicides indeed. She is spot on in her thoughts. Not overdoses it's poison indeed. Your going to make a difference Terry regarding the way these tragedies are treated. America does need to investigate these deaths on a national level united. More must be done. Texas Pictures is doing the job of what mainstream media is silent on which makes me wonder why???

Mom. That chair is NOT empty. My mother passed s few uears ago, and we still pull up a chair for her during family gatherings. Once I actually saw her sitting there for just a brief moment. She will send you signs, hummingbirds and butterflies, songs and sunsets, feathers and pennies.

So proud of you mom, for speaking out and telling the story of your beautiful daughter. She would be SO proud of you. But this eas your daughter's path, and she would have found the drugs from someone else. Its a dangerous world out there, and her path was to bring this subject to national awareness. She succeded! Her death will save many others from taking that first pill. I am one of those that she, and you, have saved! She is back "home", and remains connected to your family. You cant really die. You just get to go home a little early. Thank you for your courage! - another one saved.

Every child is a VICTIM because they are being attacked by drug dealers. NEVER should anyone blame a kid for addiction or dying from this poisonous assault on our country's future - our precious children.

What angers me the most is most of these pushers KNOW they’re selling fentanyl laced pills or illicit drugs. Yes ppl shouldn’t use drugs, unfortunately so many use to simply survive their daily life routines. Dealers must be held accountable for knowingly selling ppl something they didn’t ask for. To receive probation or 6 yrs for killing an innocent person is so diabolical. Glad this family persevered, although the sentence was extremely short. May she rest peacefully.

Is there anything to investigate when there isn't a phone? My son Alex was left outside of a Seattle emergency room with no phone, and no wallet or identification. What hurts more is the tox lab found no Narcan in his system. We talked weekly and he knew the danger. He witnessed friends take what they hoped was meth or coke turn blue. They all carried Narcan because it happened so often. To know that no one even attempted to save his life is hard to grasp, I believe Alex was murdered but all the evidence is in his phone. His family and I are from Minneapolis.

You need to be a party in either a civil or criminal court case in order to obtain cell phone records by subpoena. The subpoena is issued to the cell phone company or wireless carrier. I would reach out to your district attorneys office and discuss what happened to your son. I’m so very sorry for your loss. Truly 🙏🏼♥️

Why would a charge of drug induced homicide carry such a low sentencing level? It's no wonder the United States is full of open Air markets, experiencing a crisis level fentanyl epidemic,along with the ever growing population occupying Kensington Ave, and Skid Row. Yet medical doctors were threatened with prison sentences and forfeiture of their license for prescribing VALID PAIN MEDICATION FOR VALID PAIN CONDITIONS. These drugs being peddled are also part of the human trafficking crisis...

Can anything be done so parents can hold and/or touch their child when EMS declares dead? That’s the ache we hear on this channel EVERY time: police, EMS tell grieving parents to stay away.
@principecaprincipeca2243Ай бұрын
If it's a crime so the body is a "crime scene", a proof. So no, nobody should touch the body as long as it has been investigated. You can't contaminate the evidence. You can't have it both ways. If it's a crime, then no, you can't hold the body before it's investigated and the possible evidence taken from it. You can't hold the body of any crime victim before the body is investigated.
@stephaniec5215Ай бұрын
@ When is the body ‘investigated’? When the EMS have mouth on the victim’s mouth? When 911 instructs the parent to give CPR? When EMS and/or police administer Narcan? When the fire department comes in the room and shakes hands with the police and verifies nothing to see here, leaves? When the EMS zip up the body and transport to county medical examiner? All the personnel are finger printed, DNA tested and excluded from the investigation’ since they touched the body? Or is it when the family begs the police to investigate the crime, and the police state, ‘there’s nothing we can do’. Is that when you can’t hold your child one last time, when the investigation’ never occurred since law enforcement won’t investigate? Is it when a mom begs her state senator to compel the law enforcement to investigate a drug homicide and her pleas are met with silence? How exactly is a mom or dad holding their deceased child one last time contamination?

@@stephaniec5215 his death wasn't declared as homicide. If you want od:s as homicide and a crime the body is evidence. What's so hard in understanding in this?
@principecaprincipeca2243Ай бұрын
@@stephaniec5215 EMT's don't do mouth to mouth. And the CPR does disturbed the crime scene. And you have been able to touch your loved one when doing it. That all is to try it not to become a homicide. After the person dies everything changes now when od is wanted to become a crime where someone can be convinced. As the person dies in possibly criminal situation the body is a "property" of the investigators until they have done their investigation. That's how it goes if you want to handle these situations as poisoning and crime/homicide. You don't get to touch your loved ones k1lled in any other possible crime either. Not until the investigation of the body is done. You get to after the autopsy and investigation of the body. That's how it works. Like it or not.

Very well spoken... its the money. What I heard from different people. It's the mixing some dealers don't know how to mix it. They should be doing more then 6 years. To me its premeditated. They know fentanyl kills. They know this. They dont care because of the money.
