Look at that red on you! Beautiful. I love when you wear red; your whole face just pops out. My favourite affordable beauty products are: Essential Eye pencils, Burt's bees oil cleanser and BB lips gloss, Purr brushes (my mom likes the Purr powder), and my favourite, ALMAY eye shadows, which I discovered when I was 23 at university and had to make a dollar go far. It was a lovely time, which I remember with fondness.

Thank you for your cheerful presentation. Going to hide my debit card. Have spent so much recently mainly on Beauty Pie in skincare although the eye product you have recommended isn’t one that I brought. I am following your advice on slowly introducing new products as I use up my existing skincare range, which is Liz Earle, which is good but my skin needs more pampering and targeting treatments. I have realised that my weakness is lipsticks. Just treated myself to the Dior set of four lipsticks with a metal case. An expensive treat, but as I had enough Boots points to cover the whole cost I am so happy, as is my husband, who is a sweetheart. Sorry waffling. Anyway thanks again for another informative and entertaining presentation.

I usually don’t use drug store makeup except lip products. I recently purchased the L’Oréal foundation and OMG I can’t believe how beautiful it is. Reminds me of my Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk. Stunning. The design of the stopper is really bad. I can’t believe that they did not figure out how horrible it was before they sold it.

Hello Gemma. Thanks for the video. I really like the L'oréal nude foundation. I have a huge collection of foundation, CC, BB, tinted moisturizer and THIS one stays a good 10 hours and still look good. I will test it more in the next weeks with the dry and cold weather here in the north of Canada. However, My ideal shade is a mix of shade 1-2 and 3-4 in the ration of 2:1 (both neutral and cool undertone) SO I bought an empty airless 30ml bottle on Amazon and will transfer them into it. I also love the Flower beauty foundation you mentionned. Just really difficult to get our hands on in Canada.

I have just started using that Eyeshadow Primer from Beauty Bay and I have shade 2 and it is fantastic and I am getting great longevity out of eyeshadows that have worn off for me with the Elf Putty Primer and the Bare Minerals eye primer which originally was my favourite.

Sally thanks for your comment, very encouraging. I've got hooded eyes and oily lids with a double fold so eyeshadows crease easily on me. I'm always looking out for good affordable eyeshadow primers! I don't know if I just got a bad pot or what but I couldn't get that Elf eye primer out of the jar unless I dug some out with my finger nail then smoothed it on my hand to warm it up. But by the time I took a brush or even my finger to it I couldn't get good, even coverage on my lids. I got extremely frustrated with that product... 😒

Great products Gemma :-)) Could you do a video for us Uk souls that want all the fab makeup from the US and the shipping nightmares we have to deal with boooo. Like Nordstrom says it ships to the UK. Last year i got the lovely Lisa J brushes and her makeup palette. I paid for my goods and the shipping fee which was fine, but then a few days later i got a email from Glasgow Airport post packages etc saying to release it i had to pay £30. it was a slap in my face. I love the Flower Beauty foundation, it's perfect for my dry skin . The elf Electric Mood x Pitizion face palette is just lovely. I can use both blushers, the bronzer and, if I'm in the mood, the highlighter. Beautiful cream products that last all day! I'm enjoying the elf skincare products too. I have their Bubble Mask (I wanted more bubbles), Cleansing Balm (not great for waterproof mascara), Daily Cleanser and, my favourite, the Holy Hydration Cream. I've just recently found the Loreal Serum foundation & I LOVE IT! I'm super oily & I use Nyx shine out primer & set it w/ a bit of Rimmel transparent pressed powder, PERFECT COMBO for me. My absolute favourite mascara..not sure if you’ve ever reviewed it..but only buy from main shops/chemists..I had to return one to Amazon as the seal was not on it so no way was it going near my eyes! It lasts so well and being a tubing mascara never leaves me with panda eyes or smudges. It’s L’Oreal Paris Double Extension Beauty Tubes Mascara in a red and white double tube..one end is primer, the other is actual mascara. I love it! Is that Elf Halo similar to Bare Minerals Mineral Veil? I have gone through 2 bottles of that L'Oreal Tinted Serum shade 0.5-2, fairest shade already. I have found my groove with it and always wear it for work days. The dropper is gross and I detest it. It needs a pump! I apply it always with my fingers, then tap spots that need a better disbursement. My skin is dry but have no issues using it each day for work. I moisturize heavily at night and wear a sleep mask by Etude House. My daily moisture emulsion and serum is ENOUGH underneath L'Oreal Tinted Serum. I have yet to try anything by Flower cosmetics. Will look into it after I try and adapt to my order of Kosas tinted oil, and concealer, coming tomorrow. 👀 ⭕ I have terribly dry under eyes, and even my upper lids have been dry (and flaky) lately. I have Isntree TW-REAL eye cream to finish first before Beauty Pie comes into play. Plus, Beauty Pie seems gimmicky to me, still unsure about that membership stuff. Thanks as always Gemma! ❌💖⭕

#1: You are adorable. I don't care how many times you say the word 'stunning,' it is not irritating! I love the way you review products, even mentioning things like: "You're going to have to click this container 45 times before the product actually gets to the top, but I promise you it's in there.". I can't live without the bioderma sensibio range, vaseline deep moisture jelly cream for dry/irritated/inflamed skin, and neutrogena sensitive body lotion (scentless + pump = perfect hand lotion for my sinks). The Nabla skin realist foundation is pretty incredible and on sale I'd say it's basically drugstore. Lanolips. Vaseline. I've been using the same double-ended cheapo morphe brow brush and spoolie since the beginning of time it seems 😆

That L’Oréal serum foundation is beautiful but like you I absolutely despise the dropper I’m messy anyway and when you put me and that dropper together it’s a disaster waiting to happen. I fell in love with the covergirl outlast 3in1 foundation with the pinkish orange cap this year it is my go to if I want a flawless base. It is a matte finish which I prefer.

I love the finish of the L'oreal foundation - but agree, I cannot use it frequently, especially near the inner corner of my eyes (it seems to cause that area to peel a bit). honestly, when I'm not using the L'oreal, I'm using the Wet n wild dewy foundation (the cheapest of cheap!) and really liking it. Need to try this L'Oréal foundation. The product I really like and there is so little talk about it, is Miracle Second Skin hybrid Foundation by Max Factor, it's such a perfect skin care and foundation combined product, it also has Pre/Pro biotic and coco nut milk to hydrate the skin. It dries off into humid- like texture but velvety to the touch. And it had Spf 20 which is all u need in December 🙂

Hi Gemma!! Well I absolutely love thOse Milani lipsticks!! I am a lipstick girl vs any other makeup. I usually go light in the make up and wear a good bold luscious iip..😁. Any ways, my ride or die is the Tula sunscreen. I have tried others that are quite good but the feel of Tula on the skin and the look that I just woke up beats the rest. I also love the free to the people eye cream.. a bit pricey but it feels nice and absorbs quickly as well as plays nice under the make up. Set is for eyes like after your upper eye lid primer and your under eye correctors. A finishing power is the last thing all over but usually not the eyes. That step “blends” the look of all the products you used on the face. Some people need it & some don’t. Hope others answer you cuz I’m no expert. Hey, google it!🥰
