Definitely will be trying that salicylic acid cleanser. I've liked oils or balms for years now but haven't been doing a 2nd cleanse. Only just found out recently that it was a good idea. Very happy too that it's in a lower price point. I'm starting to incorporate skincare but am on a tight budget. As far as that Milani lipstick, I've been trying to find "secret" since it launched. Lol. Just recently saw some new shades too but I'm not one to order really.

I use salisilic acid cleanser from La Roshe posay, I just put it on in the morning and brush my teeth so it stays a while. It got rid of my small blackheads on the nose.

CeraVe also makes a wonderful salicylic acid cleanser. I use it every day, even though my skin is dry and a bit sensitive. I get many compliments because my skin is smooth and even-toned.

Hi Gemma....another fantastic video, I loved it! ☺️ I wondered whether you would consider doing a video about vitamin C and how it can cause skin irritation and break outs? At age 38 I have only just invested in a skin care routine, which I was really enjoying before my chin and jawline started breaking out. I have now realised that the serum, day and night cream all contain vitamin C. I know you've mentioned that you cannot tolerate vitamin C yourself, so I'd be really interested to learn more. I would try revolution and milani products, unfortunately elf concealer was a fail as its scent is to strong for me😕 fortunately I found replacement for it in form of essence camouflage concealer. Its jus great😊

Can you do a video on lipsticks and how different they look in print , in the tube and when applied. I buy a colour that looks just right on the end of the tube, point of display colours or advert to find it's much yellower, bluer, darker or lighter when applied.

I really, really agree about the elf hydrating concealer! My undereyes are really dry and it's the only inexpensive one I've found that works. Have you been able to get a hold of the Wet n Wild mega glow where you are? I can't stand super sparkle at all, however for just a few dollars it fills the bill so well! I just heard yesterday a KZbinr recommending the L'oreal Air mascara, first time I've heard anyone comment about it then.

Just this week, I cracked open my first ever package of the e.l.f. Camo Hydrating Concealer, as I'd heard such wonderful reviews, & I agree that it is a beautiful finish & does offer quite good coverage. My ride-or-die has been the Milani Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer simply because of the higher coverage usually needed for really dark undereye circles from two sleep disorders. As it ages in the container, the Milani seems to dry out more, so I'm hoping the lighter, thinner consistency of the e.l f. will prove to be a little better in that department. Thanks so much for all of these affordable recommendations for those of us on a tighter budget! I need to check out the Revlon highlighter & that gorgeous Milani lippie! 🤩👍🏻💥💄💫

If the Revlon Skinlighs highlight cane in a more neutral or cool shade for pale girls I’d totally bite in it, but my undertone is too pink for ANY of the shades including the lightest shade.

We don’t have most of these Revolution products (at least easily) available in Canada. Shoppers carries some products, but not all… I’d definitely try that first cream highlighter if I could get it, it looks right up my alley. The L’Oreal mascaras (all of them) flake terribly on me. And, for drugstore mascara, they’re pretty $$… I do want to try the Milani lippie in Secret tho, I’ll be on the look out for that 😊👍😉🇨🇦💕

I got a skincare box from inkylist on your reccomendation last christmas and it was the best!! My skin is so good now that I have kept using some of the stuff, specifically the salicylic cleanser and niacinamide serum!! Have you tried any of the boots ingredients range? They are pretty much a knock off of inkylist/the ordinary and I'd love to hear your thoughts on them!

The Pillow Talk lipstick must be my most disappointing buys! I have a quite light skin tone, a tad deeper than yours, but it makes my lips disappear - it’s too light of a nude for me and all swatches I’ve seen are so beautiful and dark in comparison! Have you had any dryness from the SA cleanser? I have rosacea and read that I might be able to use a SA cleanser to exfoliate without irritation. However, I have dry skin so too much dryness causes irritation too. 😕 What do you think?

I don't have very dry skin but get some dry patches on cheeks and have quite sensitive skin use this SA cleanser, and don't find it drying or irritating at all, it's very gentle!

That L’Oréal mascara is so fragranced I couldn’t use it, it lingered and irritated my eyes so badly and I wouldn’t say I’m particularly sensitive either. Sticking to my UD Perversion don’t know why I ever deviated, my absolute ride or die 🤍
