Covergirl's Clean Fresh Lip Balm in Bliss you Berry is closer to shade and undertone to Clinique's Black Honey. Elf is close and a good alternative but is not an exact duplicate, the shade is Ecstatic not Black Cherry. Lip shades can vary on different people depending upon their lip tone.

I use elf's hydrating camo concealer and I really like it. It's got good coverage and I don't need to set it with powders but it doesn't look dry on my extremely dry skin. My sister in law used their putty primers and loves all of them.

The ELF no budge cream shadow in their dark matt brown (not certain what it's called0 has been a go to for me as an eye liner. It sticks on the upper water line very well, but like Laura Mercier sticks, can also work as a shadow on the lid. I was quite impressed how versatile it is. The bronzy brown one looks very pretty too. The brushes also intrigue me. I will have to look out for them here in the UK. Thanks for the video.

I recently went to London and I totally thought of you Matilda, because I found that Makeup Revolution released a rosy multi-use balm that I'm sure is a dupe of Jones Road's Miracle Balm. I haven't tried JR's, but I am pretty sure it's a dupe of it comparing the texture to the photos I've seen online. And the color is actually kinda spot-on as well.

I use the No Budge cream eyeshadow in Sand dune and Plateau . Perfect setting for a favorite topper or colorful eyeliner on my 57 year old skin. No Budge shadow stick in Rose Quartz is lovely in the inner corner. Big Mood Waterproof mascara is almost full enough for me, but I use it as a second coat with Rare Beauty's. Their foam blenders, puffs, and brushes are just fine. Hate the scent of that lip product, though the color is good. Skin care is good enough for those daily basics. Enjoy the Elf!🎉🎉🎉

Elf released a black honey dupe recently so I think you should check that out if you want. And the putty primers are good. I use the regular putty one but the matte one is nice. The elf hydrogrip I'm probably using wrong but despite that it looks pretty good. More of a sticky texture. The hydrating camo concealer is definitely a win. The 16 hour one is a bit too dry for me but could probably work on more oily skin. I have combination skin. The flawless brightening concealer is perfect for a minimal makeup look. I find 3 clicks to be enough product. And the elf halo glow liquid highlighter is such a dupe for the charlotte liquid highlighter. I really enjoy these videos. Keep up the good work :)

I’ve had great experience with the potted eyeshadow. I like to blend the edges with translucent powder and it’s a nice extra guarantee against creasing. I’m really surprised by how muted the “copper” crayon is. Thanks for the comparisons 😊💛

I just received the Merit cream eyeshadow, and I find it a bit dry ... I have one of the ELF cream shadows in Sand Dune, which, honestly, I think is a better formula, and way less expensive.

I have the ELF lipbalm in that berry-purple shade, at the time I bought it I didn’t know that it’s considered a dupe for Black Honey. Because I’m the clumsy person I am, I dropped it somewhere in the cinema one night & realized it when I was halfway home 😅 Cycled back 10mins to the cinema to ask if they found it, was beyond ecstatic when they did!! Very flattered that you thought of me (thank you!) but unfortunately I haven't made specific 'clean beauty' content for a long time. I enjoy using a lot of creamy products in that category, but I don't believe in the 'toxic' messaging and misinformation in that part of the industry, or the lack of definition or regulations around what's 'clean'. In terms of affordable makeup options, the lovely creator I mentioned in this video Amanda Z makes fantastic videos on that topic so you should definitely pay her channel a visit! ☺️ x

Maybe you got lucky with yours, but I've heard some not so good things about the Merit solo shadows. I'm hearing that blending them out becomes a patchy mess.

Everyone's eyelids and application techniques are different though so experiences can certainly vary! I've seen other creators and customers being impressed by them too to help balance out what you've seen so far x

Elf has the perfect ABH double-ended brush dupe for the gel brow (spatula on one end and small spoolie on the other). Elf has a better BlackHoney lip dupe in BlackCherry.

Allthough not a very big drugstore expert, I go for more mystified skincare and makeup since my young years: Physicians Formula Tropical Days Butter eyeshadow palette: my Biggest Drugstore discovery EVER. 🤎🧡💛🩷🤍💜💙🐎👆💯🔥🌟And L'Oréal liquid eyeliners in navy and dark brown, coming with the only ultra fine brush I can use- felt tips are not for me, even the most incredible YSL eyeliner is not as good. In my hands!🖌️
