My favorite is the live version of Third Eye from Salival. It's not a landslide victory or anything....as Tool is one of the very few bands I listen to where I listen to every album front to back on a regular basis... There is just something about that performance that I can't get enough of.

Ive watched so many of these drummer reacts videos to this song, and most start out trying to count polyrythyms and get their head around what he's doing, then every time they reach the interlude where each limb is playing it's own rhythm, they stop talking and you just see the absolute respect for just how skilled Danny is.

Been listening to Tool since Undertow. As a musician you listen to music differently for different reasons than most. Over the years I had gravitated closer to Tool with every album release. When Fear Ino ulum came out I was floored. I had no choice but to pay a small ransom for floor tickets. NEVER did I imagine what I was in store for. A spuritual, mind blowing experience. I highly recommend putting EVERYTHING in life aside for one night of epic musicianship.

I've seen Tool in concert 5 times. Was fortunate enough to talk with him after 4 of those shows. He's incredibly humble and very easy to talk to. Just an all around good dude and an amazing drummer! I've been a lifelong fan but never had the chance to see them, when I finally did it was in Jan 2020. I've been to at least 100 concerts in my life, but not once did I ever feel like I did when I walked out of that arena. I don't know how, but I felt like my life had changed in some way. I didn't really "get" Pneuma from listening to the album, but when they played it live it instantly became one of my favorite songs. I looked over at my buddy during it and he had a tear running down his cheek. Something powerful happened at that show.

To answer your favorite Tool song..... I've been a drummer and a tool fan since sober came out I think in 92. So my favorite song well one of them they have so many, is the grudge listening and eulogy to play drums along with. One part is still VERY( doable more often than not. It's) difficult for me to this day, even after playing the song 500 times. As a drummer you will appreciate tool's song,Eulogy. They are my favorite band to listen And play along with. Btw strangely Eulogy isn't you learn and your done.and play it perfect from there. . I really have to teach myself this beat every time I hear the song. I practice hard to do most of what Danny Carey can and this song is interesting, you'll see. Thanks. 🥁

Ive been a Tool fan since I was 14 and seen them live 3 times in Australia (2001, 2007, 2020)… my love & appreciation for their music grows the more & more I listen to them. I cannot choose a favourite song. They all hit so differently, it’s like asking to comment on who your favourite child is Lol. Which brings me to my next point- The greatest joy is having my kids starting to listen & sing along to some of their tracks… I never imagined as a grunge teen of the 90s that one day I’d be driving around with my own pre-teens rocking out to The Pot or Ænema in the car with me 🤘🏽

Been a longtime fan of TOOL - since the mid-90's - and I was very fortunate to see them live once, in 2006 on the 10,000 Days tour, at the Staples Center in both my and the band's home city Los Angeles. It was an incredible show. Danny wore his Lakers jersey :) I'll never forget they played "Aenema" and during the intense "fuck all this fuck all that" section , everyone and i mean EVERYONE had their middle fingers in the air pumping to the rhythm. Incredible. My favorite TOOL song is "Lateralus" and my favorite TOOL lyric is "Cold silence has a tendency to atrophy any sense of compassion" from "Schism" Great reaction! Cheers! 🤘

Welcome to the TOOL ARMY. Danny by far is my favorite drummer. We call him the Octopus for obvious reasons. Whether you believe it or not, seeing Tool live is a life changing event. I've been a fan since the 1990's and have seen them 3 times so far. The only other Band's I've seen live that even comes close, are Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin. Three songs I would suggest to check out are Lateralus, Aenema, and 46 and 2. They are my top three, but there's really no such thing as a bad Tool song. One last thing. Danny is in his 60s and still killing it.

Seen them live somewhere around 2004 for the 10.000 days release, in Nantes, France. Was amazing. Dany is one of my few favs drummers, Mario Duplantier is another one.

Saw them live March 2022 in Michigan. I still catch myself slipping back into the concert several times a day lol. You don't just listen to TOOL. It becomes part of who you are. Always read the lyrics and always spiral out! Danny is the best there's ever been and will ever be. No other band can compare.

Probably the best reaction I have seen to this video of Danny. He is my favorite drummer and I have seen Tool live 4 times and always an experience. Danny is amazing and underrated if that is even possible. Favorite tool song is Lateralus. Nice video man.

I've seen them 4 times in Philly and AC since '94 and every time has been incredible. Not just the amazing music but the light show too. And my favorite song is impossible to pinpoint. Pnuma is up there.

I have seen Tool 5 times 3 in Tampa, 1 New York and 1 in Philly. Almost every time the crowd stood motionless. It was honestly the best experience of my life.

The thing that seems to never stop amazing me... is how much all of the Members of Tool are masters of what they do together. Their parts just glue together in a way that othsr bands can only dream to achieve. They may not be the best at their particular instrument but they're possibly the best at putting all their talents together. Thats the best way i can describe how listenting to them makes me feel. If it makes any sense to anyone lol.

Parabola always reminds me of a good friend of mine. Born on the same day, met in college, bar toured together on our 21st. We lost her to breast cancer in her mid 40's. "Celebrate this chance to be alive and breathing. We are eternal all this pain is an illusion".
