Beautiful tie Bro, there is a dry fly here in the US from the 1930's...the Orange Asher, simple tie and I always crush it fished dry OR wet here in the Colorado Rockies high country.

Actually the more I think about it, it reminds me of the fly pattern called the sterling wood special. I find that brook trout like that fly pattern here.
