The 👓 bit reminded me of my college roommate! She wore glasses that had very little frame, which was great because it almost looked like she wasn't wearing glasses and didn't distract from her face. The downside was that she couldn't really see them when she'd lay them down in the room. Many times I'd see her gingerly patting her desk and bed, just like he described! Of course, when I was aware of her search, I helped her out and we had a good laugh together.
