I swear by the old lipstick method, put lipstick on box, push drywall against it, pull away it is marked EXACTLY, cut with a handheld drywall saw or razorblade knife. Screw drywall to wall with a perfect fit around box. Cost is one dollar for lipstick at Dollar Store or zero for old one wife no longer uses.

Are you going to do a little sound deadining??? On the kitchen wall???and if not,how would you do that??? I am asking because,we are redoing my bedroom, and would like to have more then one wall,to put my bed against, but the 2ond choice is right next to my bathroom/laundry room,HELP oh we are leaving original painted wood paneling,to save $ to use toward flooring,we are just going to fill in the gaps with caulking, but b4 that ,after taking panels away ,besides insulation, what can be used to sound proof a little more??? I don't like hearing my roommates bathroom noise??? Lol 😆

My husband has been in construction for 48 years. He said they tried the plastic on the interior once in the 70s and it will cause rot. The plastic will sweat where the warmth from one side meets the cold from the other and it will cause rot. Just FYI in case you have time to change it you may want to. I love watching your channel and would hate for you to have trouble down the road.

We live in a Seattle residential area with a view of downtown. I love watching your channel because of the pragmatic compromises you have made with your projects. Possibly, I would rather live in the countryside--major upgrade trailer. I relate because during the pandemic we did an extreme remodel. My wife and I acted as the general contractors doing most of the work ourselves. I would love to have you (both) as neighbors, any day, anywhere! Of course, we subscribed. I have to see what is next...
