Not sure how you can source it but it's straight up fiber glass / fiberglass blankets with epoxy. For the mold you just need to use wax and then paint with gel coat. After you fiber glass on top of the gel coat. Once everything is dry the wax will release the fiberglass from the part and leave you with a nice gel coat finish. I hope it makes sense and good luck!

Thanks for the video! Iv been wanting to do this for my Ktm 525 exc. I’m not familiar with this process and was curious what the material you used on top of the cardboard to smooth the edges and form a finished look for the mold?

Garrett Hansen I just used generic bondo from the hardware store. Its a bit of work but it is so worth it.

GV FIFTYTHREE Thanks you sir! I made the bracket out of metal tubing and a pipe cuted in half lenght wise. Its holding with u bolts of the frame. This winter I am gonna try to 3D print a mount for it and make a new carbon fiber fairing.

The fairing is tied to the tank with zip ties. Whenever I feel like removing the tank I cut them and replace after.
