Mhm. Beginning my very first year of high school as a freshman started pretty shaky and then off course (pun intended). I had a red DS I got for my 8th grade graduation present back in 2011, and I had no desire of wanting to lose it whatsoever. It came with three games for it to play - MKDS, New Super Mario Bros. DS (which was my brother's game at the time), and that awful Wreck-It Ralph game which I did not like. MKDS was the one I played with the most and never grew tired of it. I pretty much survived throughout the entire freshman year with it - that is until right at the tail end of the 2nd semester when I unexpectedly left in my locker and never saw it again. 2012 just wasn't much of a good start to live and learn something anew in life, but every new start in a new chapter of ya life doesn't go as smooth as you want it to. I wasn't worried about ever losing that red DS or even the game fo' that matter then, because my mom told me that if I wanted another Nintendo DS and games for it, I'd have to go into the real world and work to get it. Now I'm a grown ass man workin' a part-time job, and ironically, I don't feel no desire of actually wanting to play video games necessarily. A man's gotta hustle and flow to get somewhere new in life if he's gotta think all the time and not play games 24/7.

Still lucky because you can buy chargers online for cheap prices I lost mine years ago. I'm playing MKDS on an emulator nowadays
