I think so. Most folks retain their core softness or fretfullness etc until they are to a point where this kind of care no longer works, where they need assistance beyond the home.

It can cause even the nicest, most calm person to become violent and say mean things. We must remember its not them, its the disease. From what he says his dad has age related memory loss, but it seems to be a little more than that, like maybe a bit of dementia

My mom and dad are both 91 and I live with them and take care of them too. They have minimal memory loss and can still function fairly well. However, they are both becoming more frail physically and I have to do more for them in that respect. However, these videos give great insight as to what I can expect as the age-related memory loss increases in both of them. Thank you for making these videos Dan. I so admire you and your wife and your brother Mark for taking such good care of your “Pop”. It’s as it should be. And I love your dad too. He is a real sweetheart. God bless all of you. 🙏🏻🙂
