Quite true with the dogs; they try to assault a rich person. They would squamish instead of attack. The story of wives frustration over unsuccessful husband, is due to her not sharing her knowledge, and communicating with her husband to be successful together. This culture is prevalent with Nigerian society only, and not a general opinion of human state of affairs. A loving husband and wife are supposed to build metrimony wealth together, if that makes sense. I wouldn't want my partner to be in poor condition, with time to develop money making projects. Mind you, unlike Nigeria, in comparison to the rest of the world, is the most extroverted commercial society in the world. Rich Nigerians, prefer to acquire wealth with foreign friends, than their own country citizens, it appears to be a custom that needs changing. Women shouldn't fear rich men,it's always a pleasure to have a rich woman as a friend of rich men, both academically and business moguls or magnates.

Having money as a man makes you weaker because you are susceptible and vulnerable to attackers such as pride, lust, greed, jealousy, women, men and with that you lose. Money rules peoples lives and with that you have war and divorce. It seems a lot of men aren't aware that as a man, u must seriously prepare for ur old age, and that means u must be financially capable to take care of ur needs, as we all as pray for sound health, so that even if u have money, ailments wont take it away! The man's life is such a conundrum!

Real respect is supposed to be a CHARACTER TRAIT (who you are), not a transactional tool you earn, lose, barter or use to get what your Ego desires... You should respect others because YOU are a respectful person, and doing otherwise would be acting out of character (thus, no one should EVER have the power or control to make you be disrespectful & figuratively act out of your respectful character). If your kids don't respect you because you have no money, it means you failed at raising respectful humans. Once respect becomes something to be bought/earned, it is no longer character. It becomes a commodity/tool. And just like commodities and tools, it can be lost or controlled by external factors.

I never respected someone simply because they had money. The ability to provide for a family is respectable, but it’s not make or break. I respect a person’s character first and foremost. Money or lack thereof doesn’t change that.

Broke or rich, I will be happy regardless because happiness is internal. Nothing from outside can make you happy if you aren’t happy inside. Look at all the rich and or famous people that committed suicide, hooked on drugs etc. I want to come back to peace at home and not have someone because society wants me to.

If women, your kids, people only respect you because you have money, is it you they respect? No, they respect the money(paper) over you (the soul) & those aren't the kind of people worth having in one's life... The "respect" you get through money is nothing but a rented illusion. A wise man once said his aim in life was not to make more money, but to make many more great relationships worldwide so that wherever he went, *his money would be no good.* The real currency is RELATIONSHIP (true deep connection), not only with others but most importantly with yourself. *A boat doesn't sink from the water around it, it sinks from the water it lets inside it...* Letting outside things like money define you or determine your self-worth is ignorance and a shortcut to less peace of mind. Misery and unhappiness are experienced from the inside out, so never let the outside world convince you that external things like money get you respect, fulfilment, or happiness. Your experience of life starts & ends with YOU... not money. *"The gates of hell are locked from inside." C.S. Lewis*

I get your point, but the world we live in is cold and indeed so, generally speaking the content of this video is factual, if your statement or question about respect is leading the fact women respect money more than men that often pretend to love and respect men, well then the answer yes indeed. The fundamental point being made is that you need to have something to be taken seriously in this world. That this why women will go line up for the guy that has achieved financial success than the rest or the average guy.
