He can't do any basic moves and basic combos, so he has to blame the game, the devs, and his 300 dollars new stick. He plays scrubby characters like honda and blanka, but he still can't do anything consistently after he has played over 3000 matches is insane. Blanka's combos are easy compared to other characters. Like I said before, he has execution issues since sf2 and he drops combos all the time.

There used to be a 'How to beat LTG' Video where someone broke down LTGs habits and the typical ways to beat those in SF5 and it was pretty on point for the time. I feel like it'd be pretty easy to make one for DSP here especially given Diaphone paved the way breaking down his play already and you can tell he really hasn't learnt shit because his habit of jump in/hop is getting punished freely multiple times, he leans on jab-jab-special/throw so often with every character, doesn't space well, gets counter hit constantly, his anti airs aren't timed at all, thinks parry is the holy grail of defense etc... It'd be easy to just say 'Pick Ken and DSP auto tilts', which is true. But a video breaking it all down would just be great salt in the wounds.

I'm dying at the part where he hit a button in a menu and pretended like he didnt have his hands on the buttons to try to add credence to the idea that the stick is just doing things on its own and not listening to his commands. All because he can't handle getting shit on and needs to blame some outside element.

16:37 We can LITERALLY hear him "touching" the stick, maybe not a button, but definitelly the stick. But Phil has to make it extra clear he didn't touch it, his hand's weren't there. Even so we LITERALLY see them go down, and the sound before the menu..... It can be possible the stick is SUPER sensitive to inputs, specially after Phil had SLAMMED his hands on that stick multiple times, probabbly making the switches quiet loose. When I suspect I have issues with my controller, I go to training mode and slowly experiment around, sometimes finding out 1 or 2 buttons require quiet the hard presses to be picked up, others, that simply moving the controller os sightly pickup an input, othertimes findout a corner down input is being picked up as just down. But leave it to EX PROFESSIONAL FIGHITNG GAMEPLAYEr Phil to be UNABLE to jump into training mode and spend like 2 or maybe 5 minutes to figure out the exact issue and either, work around it, ask for a refund listing the exact issue..
