Nice looking motor and should be more affordable than a 2 door but will always be worth less . Be nice with all the bad bits done and stance is quite nice . On a K reg, this is very late for a MK one. So is this a S. African import, looking at the seats and door cards they look like they come from the GL version and not the GT. Of course I'm purely going from my own memory when I lusted after one when I couldn't afford an Escort or Cortina GT

Not a genuine GT, either a GT that's been messed with or a lower model being passed off as a GT. Lights and wings are wrong, lots of interior bits are wrong. These cars are so well documented no reason to get it wrong.

Nice little car. I'm not a 4 door fan but nice car.at end of the day it's a mk1 escort so it's cool. Can always get converted to 2 doors if wanted too.

It’s a nice 👌 looking classic car 🚘 still running on the roads everyday. It is honestly a 4 door 🚪🚪🚪🚪 Ford Escort 1300 GT. It’s probably worth a lot of money 💰 💴 💵 in 2023 because they are perhaps 🤔 a few on the roads today is dated Thursday 20th April 2023. To be aged 52 years old later this year between September and December 2023. In 8 years time is 2033, the car 🚙 will be aged 60 years old. I like 👍 the 4 door 🚪🚪🚪🚪 car 🚘. Very good 👍 condition. Goes very well 👌 and solid strong 💪 ongoing. Trustworthy cars 🚘 🚙 🚗 in the world 🌍. Although Ford Escorts aren’t made anymore. It’s probably quite warm inside the car 🚘 and should convey central heating. Hopefully 🙏 fingers crossed 🤞 that the car 🚙 will have plenty of years to survive by 2041 will be aged 70 years old. 😀 😄 👍

Not a true GT. wrong headlights, wrong grill, wrong seats, wrong dash. This is a 4 door “L” version made to look like a GT. In 1970 which is the year this car is plated. GT’s were only available in 2 door. Not a true example😂

Learnt to drive in a 1300 XL in the same colour same dash and rectangular headlights given to me by my dad and eventually sold to a mate in 1984 for 35 quid so I could get a 76 Mk 2 for £295 thing is it wasn't knackered just old-fashioned in the mid eighties

All Escort GT's had oblong headlights as did XL's and 1300E's. Base, L, Sport and all AVO stuff (plus 69-71 Twin Cams) has round lights.

Great Little Car Back in 1984 I Owned a '72 1300GT White Red interior .. While the Mk3 Cortina is perfect as a saloon with a vinyl roof, and looks stunted as a coupe, the Mk1 Escort looks perfect as a 3dr, and a bit gangly as a saloon. Funny, isn't it?

Their is a company that do that to the 50s chevy bel air's in America mainly because all the 2 doors have all been bought and restored but the 5 doors are still plentiful

@@russcooke5671 because it will always be a four door with welded doors. Its the lines, the rear windows are different , It would always look a fake. stick a xr3 sticker on a GL does not fool anyone.
