Lol I’m genuinely concerned about how I am supposed to be in a relationship when I know a whole Kim Namjoon exists in this world and no one can compare 🤷🏻‍♀️. Haha of course it helps that he is VERY attractive and his voice is so nice, but I above all respect him for his introspective words and want to spread positivity despite the pain that we experience in life. I personally think it’s hard to talk about things like mental health and for him to be willing to share his own struggle as well as his hardships with feeling not good enough is amazing to me. I always had a great respect for Namjoon as the leader of BTS who represents them wherever they go, as the mediator between BH and BTS, and of course as a HUGE contributor to the song writing and production of their music, but listening to his mixtape MONO touched my heart. I feel like I am a Moonchild too, so maybe that’s why I feel connected. I had the chance to go to Speak Yourself in Seoul and the last night I was there I rode a bike along the Han River around sunset/twilight listening to MONO. I had a moment that I couldn’t hold back my tears as Uhgood and Everything Goes came on, it’s something I can never forget.

My personal take : if you read carefully in namgi lyrics, they rarely agree completely. Usually they present different views on the same topic. It's all over Spinebreaker, Converse High, paradise, etc etc etc... Even spring day _the namgi musical lovechild_ shows how different they approach the world, and how people that different can still work together, love and respect each other. It's why they used to be kind of (and still are in some ways) the creative backbone of BTS So here, RM wanted to write a philosophical piece on the nature of respect, its role in social systems. The nature of respect on large and small scales. But Suga's a practical guy with little patience for navel gazing in his music I'd say, if not irl. So he's just here to tell you what _isn't respect_ , the fallacy of respect, and the irony of respect. And thus they meet each other, and you get to peek into another one of Namgi's healthy debates on life. Plus we get "Ayo Suga!" and Yoongi calling Joon a punkin a song by the first two members where they say the respect each other, while simultaneously being goofballs. Win for us

this year will be namjoons and yoongis 10th year friendship anniversary. joon was the first member of bts and yoongi second. so for a bit there it was just them two (of the current bts line up.), they for sure have a special friendship. - originally bts was made up of namjoon and all different people, but they all left before debut and then the current bts was created with the only original member as the leader- namjoon.

With the being respected as one of the rap/hip hop greats. I think at this point maybe it doesn’t matter as long as you still love the art and the love of your fans. I’m pretty sure the ARMY will always support theses guys. But maybe they do want to become one of the greats but in my opinion there are already one of the greats.
