If you’re wondering why the Alpha Doshaguma kept running, it’s scripted to do that in this demo just to showcase different areas of the map and the variable environments. I doubt it will behave like that in the full game. Shooting dung at it while it’s running will certainly not get it to stop running though lol! 😂

I see some of the comments here and all I can say is anybody complaining about this guy spamming the lunge + roundslash combo clearly hasn't used DB at the endgame in MHW or MHR. That's the best way to do consistent damage while using the forward momentum to stay at the monster's feet and out of most of their attacks' hitbox. There's also an old Japanese MHW video out there with damage calculations that proved that spamming the circle combo usually resulted in a higher amount of damage over longer periods of time due to the consistency of the attacks actually hitting the monster and not missing a third of the time like the standard triangle attacks. It isn't fancy but it works.

He definitely played safe and cheesed it with his overly-cautious hit-and-run DB playstyle, I guess he was just afraid of possibly failing the quest so he chose the safest possible route and wasn't trying to do any cool combos or such. Seeing how most people failed this quest at the event due to the time limit and the hours-long queues just to get to play it, I guess he didn't want to take any risks. People can bash this guy all they want if they find his playstyle boring, but the fact that he actually beat the quest with minutes to spare is commendable. Look at how few other people actually uploaded their successful runs on KZbin and that speaks volumes in and of itself.

What people should be complaining about is this game running at 25 fps. The player doesn’t make the game the devs do and they are crazy if they think I’m buying this game when it looks like it was made to run on a PS3 console from 2007

I'm amazed you actually beat the Alpha Dosha solo. Most people like myself ran out of time due to the time limit 😮‍💨 Couldn't get another chance to play again due to the long queues.

Just when you think the quality of monster hunter can't get any better, they achieve excellence with this one. MH Wilds is one of the best.

Let me be the first to tell you that you are a cl0wn. You can clearly see this thing running at 25 frames per second and still say this😒. This is a next generation game running like it’s made for a PS3. They better fix this because I am not dealing with this garbage

Sounds similar to ReFantazio's MC, maybe same VA? Also kinda sounds like Caelus's VA from HSR too a bit so I dunno.

You’re complaining about the DBs being weak in this game but seeing you cheese your way through this quest makes me think that the DBs are actually overpowered lol. I don’t think you realise how hard this quest was, there were thousands of people who played it at gamescom last weekend and only a handful of people on youtube uploaded their videos of successfully completing it, so that just shows you it’s a lot harder than you think it is. I worked my ass off for 25 minutes with the longsword and ran out of time myself. I’m gonna have to main DBs now in the beta next week.

Are you referring to Focus Mode or the Focus Strike specifically? If you’re talking about Focus Mode, you can use that whenever. Focus Strike however can only be done at very specific instances when you damage a wound enough that you receive a prompt to completely destroy it with a Focus Strike. It’s not something you can just spam whenever you want like a clutch claw attack.

not being able to clutch and tendorise jump away to avoid after the double roundslash combo kinda sucks ! also having demon dodge just disapear when you sheath weapons is super lame because needing to be in demon mode chews stamina then dodging chews stamina so it will force you to lose the buff a lot very annoying! yer im ver sad my favourite weapon seems like it sucks in wilds :(

Definitely gonna take some time to get used to using the Dual Blades in Wilds! Gonna miss having the clutch claw from Iceborne and the Wirebugs from Rise 🥲

@puntacana7550 the issue is because you don't have an original thought. Sure tenderizing was lame, but the clutch claw itself was amazing and rounded out so many weapons and their kits with the clutch combos.

@@GordKeen i wouldnt go so far as to say they have 0 original thoughts that feels a bit personal lol however i agree certain weapons where rounded out nicely with the clutch claw duel blades being one of them and it ffits much better then focus mode!
