BEFORE ORDERING, PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT CUSTOME ORDERS DO TAKE A WHILE TO GET, BUT ARE WORTH THE WAIT. A lot of people have complained about this and canceled there orders. Now Ecells is stuck with the deficit. Obviously, they won't have any problem getting those sold. Just sucks that people do that to small businesses

The saddle could be a bit more cushioning. Chain slap guard and I kind of wish the bars are adjustable or more cruiser like .. I know the bars need to be more under Control for safety and front wheel drive. But I would prefer more upright seating
@JohnBabcock-qy1cs2 ай бұрын
Don't get me wrong, it's a great bike. A couple tweaks maybe. I would raise the handlebars and add a chain slap guard, maybe a better seat. But maybe someone like 5'9" will find the bar height fine. Will need to see when I buy one I guess😂

Cost of bike is kind of in the ballpark. Due to the import fees. I might need to finance and make payments for 12 months to do a purchace.

Great video! Where is the spare battery from? Is it the same battery that's on the website for the 5 Star (the only one I saw), or do the different models use different batteries?
@e-cells22222 ай бұрын
Different models do use different batteries. However, rear battery on the Monstar is the same 60v 15Ah rear battery that we use on our Dual Star and Dual Step Star models, and that was used as a spare in this video.
@Jamal_CHI2 ай бұрын
@e-cells2222 Ah, I see. This brings up 2 more questions. Does E-Cells sell the spare battery? Also, how much does the Monstar weigh without both batteries? I believe I saw the Dual Star weighs about 83-85 pounds without the batteries.

@@Jamal_CHI Yes, we do sell spare batteries. The Monstar weighs 103lb without batteries.

It's hard to say. I don't have that many miles on the Triple Crown, probably less than 20 altogether. David Cleveland likes to say, when comparing the two, that the Triple Crown is more like a Cadillac and the Monstar is more like a Camaro. Nick

Everyone's riding style will be different. Not to mention other variables such as terrain, rider weight, cargo they're carrying, local traffic regulations etc. The point of this test was to show the maximum mileage you can expect when trying to preserve battery as much as possible.
