Fabulous! Great to see the old town & hear about its history. OMG- a washing machine on that mans back, felt for him! Incredibley strong! When I heard ‘Boozer’, guess where I thought you were going!🤣 That swim was much needed in that heat, I’m sure! Great to see all the fish too! Cable car trip looked absolutely FAB & the Views are amazing! I do LOVE that you manage to capture these beautiful sunsets! Thanks for sharing it all. Really want to visit! (Amusing outtakes btw!!!) I’ve never been one to cross the Potato/Tomato line. I like to be cool when I travel and prefer Northern Europe. I’ve always said if I were to go south, it would be Croatia or Slovenia. You certainly made it appealing. Please don’t feel the need to apologize for being honest when you encounter unpleasant things. You’re very polite and that’s so charming. But by pointing out the negatives along with the positives, you help us fellow travelers make the wisest choices and set appropriate expectations. Safe travels! I can’t wait to see the next video!

Hey again guys!! We went to Dubrovnik this summer and loved it 🙌🏼 So glad you’re able to start to travels again overseas! Super frustrating when service is suuuper slow - I think we did find that sometimes there also 🤔 That guy carrying the washing machine!? What a machine (literally!!) We didn’t go up to the view point - it looks super beautiful up there 😍 Tom freaks me out all the time - such a boy thing to do 😂 Thanks for another great video - catch you next time!

Maybe slow service is just how they roll in Dubrovnik. That washing machine guy blew our minds, you know the uphill struggle he must’ve had with that🥵 crazy! Good to know it’s not just Craig that does that kind of thing! 😂
@EmilyandTom3 жыл бұрын
@@TideKnotTravellers Probably! Eating out in some cultures is a super slow process - we’re finding in Mexico that people find it rude to immediately ask and pay for your meal 🤷♀️ hahaha the struggle truly was real 😅 Hahah nope, definitely not just Craig 😂

Thank you for the very informative video. I have never been to Dubrovnik but have always wanted to give it a go. Did you know that the word Dubrownik is an old Celtic word for water and the Kent town of Dover is derived from the same word.

Thank you for visiting my country :) I hope you had nice time, in spite some questionable service :) A tip for when you reach the top of the hill with the cable car.. the viewpoint is on the right, but if you go on the left, pass the buggies, there is an sort of a wild path, which leads to a very nice viewpoint without the cables that are obstructing the official view.. ;)

I was there last week - I felt ripped off multiple times. They even sold bananko ice for 4 Euros. This won't happen to you as a tourist in Vienna. No matter how beautuful it's there - the feeling of constantly being ripped off ruined it for me.
@TideKnotTravellers Жыл бұрын
Getting ripped off gets exhausting pretty quickly, it's so short sighted of tourist places as it just creates a negative image and reputation of a place.
@mimi-p7r1n Жыл бұрын
@@TideKnotTravellers that's exactly what their finance minister said - it will harm their business in a long run. He also said it's not even necessary to increase the prices since the tourist sectors get also subsidized.

Just come back from Dubrovnik, service was not great in bars and restaurants, had to ask multiple times for drinks and side dishes, the food and drinks were very expensive, €9 for a local beer and off the Stradan wasn't much cheaper. The food was also a big disappointment. Not a patch on Italy or Greece and you are paying top dollar in most places. Uber taxis to and from the airport were around 20 euros cheaper than the taxi ranks. €35 per person to walk the city wall was also a bit of a rip off. I think the high prices are reflective of the endless supply of us and Australian cruise ship visitor with deep pockets.

John 3:16-21 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
