I find it funny that when the 1199 was relaesed she was praised in almost every review as so good and sowhat the perfection itself. Now that we have the 1299 gets the 1199 criticized on certain issues where before no one spoke a word. I understand that this can be influenced by the fact that at the moment the next model is available the improvements on the successor become more clear :-)

yes because if that wasnt the case, every single bike would be shitty as fuck because in the future will exist motorcycles that will be far far superior than what we have today. 20 years ago people praised sport bikes as if they were perfect, but with our today standards they were far from good...

How many miles did the bike have on the clock when it overheated? maybe it's just because it's new and everything is still bedding in and a bit tight.

Dealing with overheating and the !FAN! light coming on as well right now. They have replaced computer and now are contemplating a full harness change. They have had my bike almost 2 months. Such crap!

I'm looking to purchase 2016 panigale, any issues with it? Any issues with the electronics? the base model vs the S, do any have more issues then the other? Also, what's it like with a passenger? Thanks so much for your help

Would adding titanium wrap around the underseat pipes help with the heat issue? Does the 959 suffer too?

I love my bike To many complain or comment , well basically whine about features one bike has to another Just ride the dam thing It’s a motor and two wheels All the complaining on here about what the Ducati has or hasn’t, I would say this if you nit pick about different sport bikes so much them trade it in on a gold wing I’m sure your man-gina will love it

The heating issue would stop me buying this bike, its just not acceptable on a bike at this price, Ducati and the other super bike manufactures need to get this issue sorted.

the heat is only an issue if you are a scrub squid/stuck in traffic. If you are wearing full leather and or moving at a decent speed, there is no heat issue. I find aprilia rsv4 frame heat much worse. edit* you can also heat wrap the exhaust pipe at the U under the seat.

Besides what others have said you can just get the panigale spacers heat shields. Heat gone. And they're hot because the engines so skinny

Hi everybody can you please give me some suggestions on how to verify with videotape and a go pro hero 4 silver my 1299S when it intermittently and randomly and unexpectedly stalls out? Every time i take it to the dealer they said they can't duplicate the problem and Ducati of North America video taped my bike with no problems. But my 1299s still stalls out on me in congested stop in go traffic all the time and when I feather the clutch and drive between 0 to 15 mph on the street or freeway or on the street.However I'm an amateur and I just purchased a hero 4 go pro silver camera do you have suggestions on how to mount it to the 1299S gas tank ? I'm concerned with losing the camera what type a suction mount the go pro hero 4 camera? What I should use and what can I use in case the suction loses its grip to keep the camera from damaging the motorcycle and the camera in case it falls thanks advance for everything. The dealer said prove the 1299s is stalling out with video verification because they claim everything is checking out A ok on the computer test sheet with Ducati engineers and Ducati video tape that they won't show me What would you do? Thanks in advance for everything.

used to have sweaty bits on an old fireblade..but I paid £1300 for it back in the day! for a new bike worth 5 digits to be heating up..even at slow speed is a disgrace..vfr1200f was a cool as a cumcumber on a summers day..and so is my triumph 1200xc

Bernievids their bike had a defective fan so the bike got really hot. dont let it change your mind. these is the best motorcycle if your into track and high speed

Bernievids I have had multiple Ducati’s, there is a mini fuse specifically for the radiator fan. When the fuse blows the fan won’t engage and it gets into triples figures. When a headlight blows on a car or motorbike review, do you not want to buy it anymore? Haha
